Former ER star Parminder Nagra has opened up about her experiences as a new mum after giving birth to her first child.
The 34-year-old actress welcomed son Kai David in May this year – her only baby with husband James Stenson.

Recently speaking to People's Celebrity Baby Blog, Parminder commented: "It's great. He's so much fun. Our dogs seem to amuse him which is quite funny."
As for adapting to Kai's sleeping patterns, she added that her mother-in-law was on hand with advice and support
"My first five weeks she was out helping us. Thank God she was there," she said.
Parminder tied the knot with her partner of seven years, photographer James, in January in the presence of her friends, family and ER co-stars.
She joined the ensemble cast of the US medical drama in 2003. Her breakthrough role was in Bend It Like Beckham starring alongside Keira Knightley.
