Hollywood actress Maggie Gyllenhaal has admitted that being a working mother is more "complicated" than she previously thought.
The 31-year-old Dark Knight star is mum to two-year-old daughter Ramona with husband, actor Peter Sarsgaard, and talks openly about how she manages to balance her film career with motherhood.

In a recent interview with Working Mother, Maggie revealed: "I was brought up to believe I could do anything I wanted professionally and, of course, be a mother at the same time - but I'm finding that it's complicated.
"It requires a lot of thought and planning and I haven't figured it out yet."
Ramona is set to celebrate her third birthday next month and has recently been enrolled in pre-school.
Maggie, who tied the knot with her actor hubby in Italy in May after seven years of dating, is currently filming Nanny McPhee and the Big Bang, due for release next year.
