With the advent of technology increasingly lending itself to children's education and development, parents are encouraged to adopt new ways of making maths fun from an early age.
Online tools such as interactive animations and games can open up kids' minds in ways that more traditional techniques couldn't.

Richard Marett, CEO of Whizz.com, said: "I think teachers over the centuries have tried to make maths interesting.
"What teachers and parents can do is to open themselves up to the sort of things that are now becoming available to teach maths, to engage children in maths."
Research conducted by online educator Whizz.com found that the average adult in Britain has a maths ability equivalent to that of a ten-and-a-half-year-old child.
In a recent interview with the Times, education expert Sir Ken Robinson said that while having a national curriculum is useful, teachers and parents should be given the space to be "creative in the way they engage kids with the material".
