Parenting tips revealed

New parents struggling with a buggy or a pram should look out for disabled signs in train and bus stations as they will often lead to ramps or lifts.

This is just one of the tips listed in Jo Wiltshire's new book Sneaky Parenting, reports the Daily Mirror, which aims to assist those stressed out mums and dads.

Parents looking to save money could buy a chest of drawers rather than a brand new changing table, Ms Wiltshire advised, as this is a more cost-effective and long-lasting purchases.

"If you and a friend are due to have a baby within a few months of each other, split the cost of items that will only be used for a few months, like prams and Moses baskets," she wrote.

A recent study by the National Childbirth Trust revealed that 42 per cent of people without children believe they would have between one and seven hours of time a day to themselves if they had a baby.

But, nine per cent of parents said they actually have no free time at all and 28 per cent said they had between one and two hours.
