What can I do if my Travel System / Stroller becomes difficult to fold or the chassis squeaks?

Regularly inspect and clean your stroller to ensure the freedom of movement of the locking devices and security of components. To ensure trouble free operation, lubricate all moving parts & joints with a silicon based spray or light oil.

If the wheels squeak - use a silicon based spray

Note: For Hauck Infinity pushchairs please use WD40, not silicone

Is your site secure?

When you register details with us, make an order or access account details, we use a secure server. Any data you give us is encrypted using a 'Secure Socket Layer' (SSL) session. SSL is an industry standard and is one of the best ways to ensure Internet messages are not intercepted.

When using a secure connection a small padlock will be displayed in the bottom right hand corner of your browser (or top right) when you reach our checkout page.

Kiddicare use a 128-bit layer protection system and also participate in Verified by Visa & MasterCard Secure

Verified by Visa and MasterCard Secure- Fraud Protection

In addition to our secure website we were also the first to implement the Visa and MasterCard anti fraud protections schemes in our industry. If your credit card issuer participates in the scheme you will be asked for your online password to verify your transaction.

If you have yet to register for this scheme don't worry your card issuer will either ask you to register during our checkout process or in another future transaction.

Verified by Visa SecureCode

Shop safely online - Visa

Using your Visa card on the Internet is as trustworthy, safe, quick, easy and as reliable as shopping in your local shops and with Verified by Visa, it's even better. Verified by Visa ensures that both you and the retailer are genuine.

How it works

Simple. Safe. Verified by Visa.

If you're used to shopping online, using and trusting Verified by Visa will come as second nature.

If you're not, then this is a reassuring place to start.

Using Verified by Visa, your Visa card will work just as it does now.

It's this simple to sign up:

  • Sign up for the service with the bank or organisation that issues your Visa card
  • Choose a password and a personal message
  • When you've signed up, you can shop at any online retailers offering Verified by Visa

It's this simple to shop:

  • Choose what you want to buy
  • Go to the check-out page
  • Enter your Visa card details as usual
  • The website will indicate whether or not it offers Verified by Visa
  • Your personal assurance message tells you that the bank or organisation that issued your Visa card is asking for your password
  • Enter your password, click 'submit'
  • Your identity is confirmed
  • Your order is placed successfully

Below is a list of UK banks (and their subsidiaries) that participate in the Verified by Visa scheme.

  • Royal Bank of Scotland
  • Barclays
  • Halifax
  • HSBC
  • Lloyds TSB
  • Mint
  • Natwest

Verified by MasterCard SecureCode

MasterCard, along with your card issuing bank, is concerned about the online security of its cardholders. MasterCard SecureCode enhances your current MasterCard with a secret code to protect against unauthorized use of your card when you shop online at participating merchants. If your MasterCard credit or debit card or Maestro card is issued by one of the following financial institutions you can register for a MasterCard SecureCode now.

MasterCard SecureCode is a new service that enhances your existing MasterCard. A private code gives added protection against unauthorized use of your card when you shop at participating online merchants.

Once you've registered and created your own private SecureCode, you will be automatically prompted by your card issuer to type in your SecureCode each time you make a purchase at participating online stores/retailers. Then your SecureCode will be quickly confirmed by your card issuer to complete your purchase. Your SecureCode will never be shared with the store/retailer and using it is as easy as entering your PIN at an ATM.

Correctly entering your SecureCode during a purchase at a participating online store/retailer confirms that you are the authorized cardholder. If an incorrect SecureCode is entered, the purchase will not be completed. Even if someone knows your credit or debit card number, the purchase cannot be completed without your SecureCode at a participating store/retailer.

You will be able to use any of your existing MasterCard credit or debit cards, as long as the cards are from a participating card issuer. If you're not sure if your card issuer provides this service, please review the list of participating card issuers. If you don't see your card issuer listed you can still check out, you simply will not be prompted for a SecureCode.

The online purchase process will not change except that now you will be prompted to provide your SecureCode at the checkout. Your SecureCode will never be revealed to the store/retailer.

Below is a list of UK banks (and their subsidiaries) that participate in the MasterCard SecureCode. Please click on your banks logo to be taken to their registration page.

I've been directed to a 3rd party site while checking out!

MasterCard Secure / Verified by Visa

If you are using a MasterCard or Visa Card which participate in the above scheme you will be asked to either register for the above protection or to input your online password (if you have already registered with them) when you have checked out from the basket.

This is quite normal and is 100% secure.
