The first time you take your baby home from hospital can be a nerve-wracking experience. Suddenly you're on your own and things that once seemed completely safe now take on a decidedly sinister air - such as the cat sleeping in the crib, or guests wanting to hold your baby without washing their hands!
Luckily, Kiddicare has compiled a checklist of everything you could possibly need to keep your newborn safe and secure. From cat nets and bath thermometers to antibacterial lotions, it's all there. Print it off and use it as a shopping list, but if there's a baby safety item you don't have, don't worry. Many items are available to buy on the Kiddicare website. And if you think one of the items shouldn't be on there, you can even vote it down to the bottom by using your voting buttons.
Use the thumb up and down voting buttons to send your favourites to the top of the list or vote down the kit you don't need.
Not sure what you need to keep your newborn safe? Find out, thanks to Kiddicare's essential newborn safety checklist. Read it to find items you may have forgotten about. Many of the items on our newborn safety checklist are available to buy on our site. So read on to find the baby safety items you shouldn't be without.
