Breastfeeding your baby for the first time can be a daunting prospect for any new mum.
In theory, all you need is your boobs and your baby. In practice, there are items out there that can make things a whole lot easier.
Luckily, Kiddicare has come up with the definitive breastfeeding kit. From breast pads to nursing pillows, our breastfeeding checklist is packed with items you may not have thought about, but which definitely come in very handy. For example, a breast pump can make expressing a breeze, allowing your partner to do night feeds while you get some much needed sleep. And if you're feeding your baby expressed milk, you'll also need bottles, teats and sterilisers.
Use the thumb up and down voting buttons to send your favourites to the top of the list or vote down the kit you don't need.
Cabbage leaves contain an enzyme which will genuinely help to ease swelling and pain during the first stages of breastfeeding. Keep them cool in the fridge and change regularly.
