I bought this for my daughter for xmas, but she has seen one before and she loved it soo much so im guessing this is going to get the same reaction from her ;)
Keeps my daughter occupied - especially the xylophone.
Great for the two of you to play together and encourages them to stand up and play.
I purchased this product as a present for my daughters first birthday and i was so pleased that i did. The look of excitment on her face when she unwrapped it was priceless. She plays with it every day and enjoys moving around it to discover all the different sides. She also uses it in unexpected ways like peering through the cut outs in the peg maze and pushing toys through the spinners, which leads me to believe that it has encouraged imaginative play as well as encouraging motor skills. This toy is also particularly useful when your child is learning to "cruise" or walk as it is just the right height to lean on and get your balance whilst you move around to see what is on the other side.
I particularly like the versatility of this product as the xylophone and blackboard sides mean that it will still interest your child in the next couple of years as they become more co-ordinated and creative in their play.
The only thing that let the product down was the loose tabs that keep the bead frame in place. However this was easily remedied by a quick tightening with a screwdriver.
My girls really like this toy, especially the beady bits on the top of the table. I was disappointed with the xylophone though, it's quite loose and wobbly and doesn't seem to make much of a musical sound.
Fantastic product and keeps my son entertained for hours. Well built and at the perfect height for little hands.
A lot of my grand daughter's toys are plastic and it was nice to have a wooden/metal toy with different textures for her to feel. Not only is it fun to play with but it helps with her dexterity.
I was very pleased with this item although it was a little smaller than I thought it would be. My daughter is trying to stand do I thought this would be a good toy for her to stand and play at. However, she did pull at it almost straight away and it did tip over a bit so we will have to weight it down. The construction is really nice though and she has enjoyed it so far. Plenty activities for her to grow into!
Brought this for my little boys first birthday, the product is great really good quality and certainly value for money. he hasn't played with it yet as it is a few weeks till his birthday but i just know he is going to love it. it is the perfect height as he is just finding his feet and i know that he will love the independance of being able to stand and play with this toy
On the whole I am pleased with this product as it has lots of features. I was however a little disapointed with the xylophone side, it isn't very musical.
The catches that hold the top in place are a little too small, loose and easily knocked. This hasn't really posed a major problem but just could be improved.
My niece (12 months old) came over for a long holiday, and as a little suprise present I bought her the activity cube. Its brilliant, just seeing her little face light up and play with it, everyday is so cute. She never gets bored of it. Its strong and safe, the different activities helps her learn and play. There is nothing bad to say about it, its easy to store and clean. Defiantly recommend it!
My 14 month old likes moving the beads on the top, and flipping the numbers on the sides, I'm not ready to trust her with chalk on the blackboard yet! Good for her current age and will see her through future development stages.
This is a really good play product. My son is 8 months old and really enjoys spinning the number squares and playing with the beads on top. The other aspects of it are aimed at an older age group which means it will be long lasting and definetly worth the reasonable price. However, need to keep a close eye on him playing with the drumstick as it has a string loop which could be a hazard. Very pleased with this. Nice to have wooden toys available
[...]kid is loving it . good to keep them busy
I would reccommend this to anyone, i bought this toy for my sons first birthday and he plays with it every day, it is good as he has just started to pull himself up so he stands by it, and is really good for eye co-ordination as he moves the beads along the wires, and as he can't use the chalk board yet it will have lots of lasting use as he grows even more into it.
He loves to spin the numbers on the side and the little maze.
Just a top product.
We received this yesterday and although my son so far loves the number/picture board and the beads (he's a bit young for the rest) I have been disappointed about the quality of the product, especially the insecure fixture of the bead top. The top is held on by two very small and rickety tags of wood, which at the slightest movement of the cube move so that the top is held on by nothing. My son at 8 months quite easily pulled the top off with it landing on his head, which was not a good start. If you plan to have the beads on the floor this would be ok, but I was hoping it'd encourage him to stand, but now I'm not sure I want him using this toy in this way.
We bought this for our daughters first birthday and she absolutely loves it!!! The activity cube is sturdy enough to stand at or can be sat at whilst playing with various activities around the side. Well worth the money - a great gift that will will not be easiy outgrown!!!

We found this to be the best interactive non-electronic toy for our 9 month old, I just wished we had bought it sooner. We struggled to find suitable fun/educational toys that would hold his attention when either we played with or he played independently with. I call this my hero as it helped transform my son from clinging to my ankles wanting constant entertaining to a confident independent boy who is happy to bang, giggle, rattle and play all by himself. I can finally drink a full cup of tea!!!!

My little boy loves to stand against this and play with the beads on top. He also likes spinning the numbers. He is only 9 months old and is yet to use the blackboard or xylophone, so it is a great toy for him to grow into! It has a variety of different activities which makes it fantastic value. Oh and it looks good in the living room!
