it needs to go over childs head at the same time as putting their arm through which is not easy, as anyone who has ever tried to dress a child will know!! however once on it is very sercure and has a nice long strap which many other reins don't seem to have.
overall very pleased, my son is quite skinny and having a wide band round the middle stops the reind cutting into him.

I have found this to be a very useful piece of equipment. I felt a little odd using it for the first time, as I felt more like I was talking a dog for a walk, rather than my 16 month old! However, as we live in an urban area with cars and lorries around, this is an essential piece of kit! As the strap is fairly long, your little one still feels like they are walking independently of you, but you have the reassurance that they will not be able to suddenly run into the road - handy in shops too. The strap unclips from the harness that the child wears, so you can let them go and play, then easily attach them to the strap again. Alternatively, the strap can be secured around the wrist, but I think this might be uncomfortable against the child's bare skin as there is no padding around the strap (which is of strong webbing-like material). I would definitely buy the same if choosing again.

I bought two harnesses for my two toddlers who like to go on a run around whenever im shopping or going out this keeps them under control.

this is a very useful harness and feels very secure when on.
It also has a much longer stap than other that i have tried.
