Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
It's great at keeping pants up snuggly around the bump but sometimes rolls up & can get a bit uncomfortable in certain places. I fold it over for a better fit. I wouldn't say it offers great back support either but either way, it feels a bit better than when I'm not wearing it but I don't find the material to be strong enough for real support of any kind-definitely not as a bra type device for pregnancy enlarged breasts.
