Very disappointed, reclining function just doesn't work but unfortunately as baby due any day just don't have time to mess about returning it.
not difficult to assemble but directions were awful!
I was hesitant in the purchase as I wasn't sure how wide the seat, and high the back would be. But I was impressed with both. With the reclining option I think there will be lots of sleeping done on here.
The instructions were basic but there are about 7 screws and only about 5 bits to connect; really easy.
this was easy to assemble as a 5month pregnant mum to be i had no problems. the instructions are not very detailed but as there are only 8 screws and 8 holes this was not a problem!
really comfortable to get in and out of as i'm struggling with the sofa already!
Only downfall is trying to get to it before my husband!
I would definately recommend this to anyone and my friend of a 18month old wishes she had got one when her daughter was small - i can't wait to use it for feeding baby when he arrives
:-)
the chair is so confortable that i often find my husband in it!! [...], easy to assemble and rocks like a dream what else could you ask for.
At the moment I am pregnant with my first child, chair was easy to put together and is very comfortable. A great place to relax before the baby arrives and I'm sure will be very useful for use once they are here. Very good value for money.
I am really pleased with this chair. It's so comfortable- I feel asleep in for an hour on the 1st day of having it, despite never sleeping in the day normally! It was really easy to assemble and isn't too bulky, so will fit in our very small nursery. Looking forward to having the baby now, so I can nurse him/her in it! If you are unsure about whether you need one, go for it! I have heard so many people say how much they used a chair like this one. [...]
Well what can i say, for [?] you certainly cant go wrong![...] Unfortunately when we opened the packaging, we found that it was broken! No need to worry, we took a photo and sent it with an email and by the following morning we had a reply advising that they were sorry that we received a faulty product and offered us a replacement! [...]!We opened the product and it was all in one piece, the instructions were easy to follow, but you need to pay attention to the diagrams as there were no written Directions! Do that and its as easy as 1 2 3!Once assembled the chair is comfy and easy to use!For [?] you cant wrong for such a good quality chair! With this item you get more than what you pay for, but do not expect a luxury product for the price you pay!I just want to say well done Kiddi Care! [...] would recommend you above all the rest!Thank you very much!!!!!
Very good for the price. Managed to put it together in about 15 minutes at 7 months pregnant! Looking forward to baby arriving and trying it out properly! Only complaint so far - the plastic cover on the footstool was hard to remove as it went under the screws and frame on the underside.
I thought getting a rocking chair would be an expensive extravagance, but this glider chair is not only a bargain, it is worth every penny and more! It is so comfortable and easy to assemble. And my partner loves it too, it's not just going to be for nursing. Only con I can think of is that the cushion covers are not removable for washing, and they have quite a strong "factory" smell to them, but that should wear off.
I ordered this product after being reccomended by a friend. [...] It took very little time to build and does not take up too much space. I am really pleased with it and it is very comfortable.I am looking forward to using it when my baby arrives in a couple of months.
We got this yesterday but the chair fits perfectly in our lounge. It doesn't take much space up and was very easy to assemble. So far, a very good purchase and at a fraction of the cost that you would otherwise pay in places like Mamas and Papas!
We use the product to feed our new 5day old baby, we find the glidding keeps him awake whilst feeding.
The chair took ten minutes to assemble with the only tool you need, which is supplied with the chair.
The only down side is that the seat cushion could be more padded.
Very easy to assemble, only just got it, but is seems very stable and we are very, very pleased with it. Arrived, up and in use in under an hour. Comfortable and exactly what we were looking for. Also, can't recommend kiddicare.com enough, had nothing but good experiences so far.

Seems to be working fine so far. Baby not arrived yet but it's comfortable to sit on, and rocks smoothly.
good value for money. The only thing would be the reclining action does stick a little.
very well built, excellent value for money
This rocker/glider chair I use to feed my 13mth baby - My twins 2& a half read stories with me on it & my 5year old son loves to sit in it to read by hiself too.
The chair is brilliant on comfort,& ease of use nice and quiet when gliding whilst feeding.
I love it reccomemed it to anyone who is after a rocker/glider is it far better than a old fashioned rocking chair (which I have tried too!!)
Best buy :-)
Second night feeding in new chair Brill & happy

My husband assembled the chair and it's so comfortable I find myself going in the room all the time for a rock and leaving half hour later!
The chair does smell of varnish so I'm glad we had it delivered in plenty of time before the baby comes so the fumes have time to wear off.
Excellent product though and I can't wait to nurse my little one in it.
Good colour (creamy beige) and the fabric looks quite hard wearing.
Having breastfed my first child for 11months without a glider chair, I decided that this time round I would treat myself to a chair to make feeding more comfortable. I am hoping that nightime feeds will be easier than proping myself up in bed. I couldn't believe the price of this chair, they were all around ?300 5 years ago, when I was last considering one & that didn't include a footstool! I am 30wks pregnant & I am already using the chair to relax, relieve backache & rest my pregnant body, whilst reading lots!I have not mastered the recline feature yet - it seems difficult to get back into the upright position. The chair has added a finishing touch to the newly decorated nursery & even though the room is not that spacious, the chair fits in well without making the room look cluttered.Definitely recommend this to anyone considering buying a glider chair.
i looked at so many gliding chairs online that ended up really confused, but I think I made the right choice. It's really comfy, and for a great price. The only downside is I suspect the fabric will get filthy.
We bought this chair after testing out a similar one on our first outing to the baby shops. Its great as its not as big as the one my husband tried out which means I get it all to myself ...and of course the twins when they arrive !! The only potential downside is that after only a couple of days the material looks a little grubby.
Beautiful chair that looks lovely in my babies room, and will last for years. The cushions are comfortable and the padded arm rests are great when feeding or holding baby. I love the footstool too.Very happy with it.
A nicely finished chair suitable for any sized room. I can't stop sitting in mine as it relaxes me and soothes my aching back.
I bought the chair to help support my back during breastfeeding and to help soothe my baby to sleep. I am delighted with how comfortable it is and how easy it was to assemble. This chair would be great for babies at all stages as it is a cosy place to sit. My baby is four months old now, and how I wish I had bought it sooner, as it would have been great for those nighttime feeds in the early days! A great buy!
Chair will be used for feeding times and reading to baby.
Due to neutral colour, once the chair is no longer used for the baby, I will be able to be put it in any room in the house.
Chair is very comfortable.
This is for my daughter and first grandchild. I was greatly surprised at the quality and price of this item and it was very easily put together and then was extremely comfortable. It will be in great use from now and until after the baby is here.
the chair was so easy to assemble, took no time at all. It is really comfy with a real smooth rocking action. couldn't believe the price.
Delivery first class, Kiddicare also excellent,Would not have paid anymore than 90 pounds, not worth [$] the original price quoted.
I cannot believe how cheap this chair was. I've been eyeing them up pretty much since I found out I was expecting but at ?300 plus I would never have afforded one. The price is great and I don't think I've lost anything in the quality. I put it together myself and can just sit rocking in it for hours. My only regret is that I didn't have it earlier, it would have been a life saver during my siactic and SPD months!!
We received the chair yesterday and are very pleased with it. It was easy to assemble and is really comfy. My only negative comment is that the fabric isn't fantastic quality and will probably wear / get dirty quickly.
I'm 6 months pregnant and it eases my aching back and legs and my 15 month old loves sitting with me and rocking.
A good buy overall.
Very easy to assemble & Looks very good quality considering the price
Fantastic chair. Took minutes to assemble. Was looking forward to trying it out, only for my 3 year old son to beat me to it and then my husband had a go! 2 hours later i managed to sit in it. It has lovely smooth gliding movement, sooooo comfortable and very much looking forward to feeding the next baby whilst rocking and sleeping in the chair!!!
Easy to assemble, comfortable and rocks smoothly.
However it is a bit narrow for breastfeeding but its perfect for rocking my 3 month old to sleep.
Fast delivery, however the I had to reseat the locking arm mechinism as it had been incorrectly fitted on arrival. The recliner does now not fit one arm properly and keeps falling out of position.
Really easy to assemble.
Fits almost anywhere.
Includes stool.
Comfortable.
Looks great in the Nursery.
Worth the small price tag - there are others out there that cost alot more but are obviously better quality.
This chair does exactly what it says on the website description.
The draw-backs include; the fabric, creases very easily. (although it could be re-upholstered in Nursey colour/ design which we will do).
Reclining position mode hs a quite cheap feel.
( however once in position - it's actually fine).
We found the chair extremely easy to assemble and it rocks very comfortably. My partner, who is very petite (5 foot1 and a size eight- at least, she was!) is very comfortable. I also found it comfy- i am five feet ten and about 13 stone. I cannot imagine anyone much beyond a size sixteen would fit with particular ease.
Great for feeding a newborn - really smooth rocking movement and excellent value. Only con is that the padding looks a bit cheap, however, you get what you pay for and this is easily remedied by a blanket / cushion etc and is still well worth the money. Colour is a neutral shade which will go with most nursery ranges on the market. This was recommended to me and i was more than happy to purchase having tried it already. Thanks!
Great value at[$]. Not so sure it would have been worth full price though as there are (very) minor flaws and the cushion material may not go the distance. That said, it was simplicity itself to assemble and is solid and smooth in operation. Looks great. Highly recommended.
As a new mum I couldn't decide whether I needed a chair such as this, but 7 days into breastfeeding I was struggling to feed on the sofa and was experiencing back pain. The chair has been great for feeding and helped keep my back straight.
Having purchased this item 2 years ago for our 1st born, we found it invaluable. Now with our 2nd due in September, the decision was very simple, we need a 2nd. I would recommend this to all new parents it just makes night feeds comfortable and the rocking motion is very relaxing for the child and parent alike.
The recline adjustments on the arms don't work smoothly and often click into place when you least expect it, sometimes on one side and not the other! Also prone to get stuck in fully upright position. Over all the product's not too bad but I would be disappointed if i'd paid any more for it. [...]
Hi I was really impressed [...],it was easy to assemble and comfortable. A very happy customer, thank you Kiddicare...
Great Value product. Not noisy, great glide. Perfect for before and after the baby arrives. I am a size 12-14 so I would say this is not the biggest chair in the world and anyone over a size 18-20 may find it a little tight. Chair takes up a bit of room but then thats because of its nature.
I was really happy with the quality of the chair for the money, and it was simple to put together. It wasn't too large either, so fits into my small nursery. Overall, I'm very pleased.
This is great - we use it at the moment when our little one needs calming and daytime feeds as she is not in her cot yet. But are really looking forward to reading bed time stories in it.Suprised at the quality considering it is such a bargain! We don't know why we didn't order it before as I am sure it would have helped while I was pregnant and in those early days too. It's really easy to assemble. [...]Thank you!
I can honestly say this chair is worth every penny!
I cant believe that this chair was under ?100, what an absolute bargain! Very satisfied with the colour of the wood and the chair is very comfortable indeed!
My husband isnt the best DIY expert in the world but he found the chair very easy to assemble!
As a first time mum I'm looking forward to putting the chair to good use when my baby arrives and hope that little one finds it just as relaxing as my husband, myself and our cat!!
Easy to assemble and fabric is nice aswell. Love the gliding motion and footstool esp with the high back. Only negative thing is the reclining action with the arms tend to move when you sit back regardless of whether you want to recline or not.

The chair would have been easy to assemble except the arm pieces were mislabelled (L vs R) so we put them together backwards (with the arrows pointing back instead of front), which made the reclining mechanism not work.
Overall, I'd say that you get what you pay for, and if you are looking for a rocking chair that will last you a few months while you are nursing, this one fits the bill.

Really pleased with this chair so far, the only seat that stops my backache (currently 31 wks pregnant). My toddler loves it too, either sitting with me in it for stories or rocking on his own. I am certain breast feeding will be much more comfortable this time round, I only wish I had bought this when my toddler was born instead of making do with other chairs. Easy to assemble and compact enough to fit in a relatively small space. I seem to have a problem with the arm covers staying in place when I recline, but to be honest I didn't buy it for the reclining capability so am not too fussed. Would recommend to any new mums.
Very good value for money
This product is brilliant I have been using it to relax in an evening now im 35 weeks pregnant and cant wait to try it out when my baby arrives. It is very sturdy which is one thing I was worried about not being the smallest women in the world!
Was very pleased with the product until I went to clean a dirty mark on the stool with a damp cloth which made to large water marks that wont come off.
There is no cleaning guidance and if water makes these marks I can see the chair looking a lot worse very soon after our baby arrives.
If anyone has any cleaning tips for this producd please leave some advice.
An absolute bargain at under ?100! Frankly, if other similar chairs are in the ?250-?350 bracket, this one is worth the same. Excellent quality. Simplicity itself to put together, much of the chair already being assembled (and the stool being ready-to-go straight out of the box). Rocking motion on both the chair and the stool is excellent. Both are very comfortable. Very well built - feels sturdy so would expect both to last. All in all, an extremely satisfactory purchase - so glad my wife spotted it (as is she!).

This is a really comfortable chair and stool. It's a lovely colour, lovely wood and feels safe when i rock/slide on it. I have already recommended it, and will continue to do so- especially at such a great price.
Very nice product. We did not think we'll be able to afford it, as the price tag of over ?300 in [...] seemd too much. Luckily we came across your website and now we have it, and it is great!Thank you very much.Max and Caroline
Comfortable chair with a nice even rocking motion.
But I did find it quite uncomfortable when I was breastfeeding so didn't use it much then. But love it now especially for last bottle at night. My husband and baby have fallen asleep many times in the chair!
Being first time parents, we found the chair very useful. Good quality product. Happy to buy from Kiddicare in future and will certainly recommend it to our friends and family.
Our baby is now 6 weeks old, and this chair has already been a great source of comfort for us, and our baby.
At first I found the arms got in the way when breast feeding, but now that I've put an extra cushion underneath me it's really comforable - excellent for those night-time feeds.
In addition to nursing, we rock our baby to sooth him, and help him sleep.
When he's older, we think he'll enjoy being read to in this chair.
I thought the price compared well with buying even an ordinary chair. The relatively small size of the chair is handy too, as our nursery is tiny. We're really glad we bought it.
I would highly recommend this chair to anyone below a size 20 as that's the only drawback..... its not very big. I'm a size 20 and although it's comfortable I would have preferred a bit more room. It's VERY easy to assemble, looks lovely and has a wonderful smooth glide. The recline is impressive, going very far back and it's well padded. The cream fabric is a bit of a pain to keep clean as I have a black cat and a toddler but a nice rug or throw solves it. In the hot weather I'm certainly glad I went for a fabric rather than a leather version though. Basically it's a good buy.
