I was hesitant in the purchase as I wasn't sure how wide the seat, and high the back would be. But I was impressed with both. With the reclining option I think there will be lots of sleeping done on here.
The instructions were basic but there are about 7 screws and only about 5 bits to connect; really easy.

this was easy to assemble as a 5month pregnant mum to be i had no problems. the instructions are not very detailed but as there are only 8 screws and 8 holes this was not a problem!
really comfortable to get in and out of as i'm struggling with the sofa already!
Only downfall is trying to get to it before my husband!
I would definately recommend this to anyone and my friend of a 18month old wishes she had got one when her daughter was small - i can't wait to use it for feeding baby when he arrives

I am really pleased with this chair. It's so comfortable- I feel asleep in for an hour on the 1st day of having it, despite never sleeping in the day normally! It was really easy to assemble and isn't too bulky, so will fit in our very small nursery. Looking forward to having the baby now, so I can nurse him/her in it! If you are unsure about whether you need one, go for it! I have heard so many people say how much they used a chair like this one. [...]

I thought getting a rocking chair would be an expensive extravagance, but this glider chair is not only a bargain, it is worth every penny and more! It is so comfortable and easy to assemble. And my partner loves it too, it's not just going to be for nursing. Only con I can think of is that the cushion covers are not removable for washing, and they have quite a strong "factory" smell to them, but that should wear off.

The only down side is that the seat cushion could be more padded.

The chair does smell of varnish so I'm glad we had it delivered in plenty of time before the baby comes so the fumes have time to wear off.

Excellent product though and I can't wait to nurse my little one in it.

Good colour (creamy beige) and the fabric looks quite hard wearing.

Having breastfed my first child for 11months without a glider chair, I decided that this time round I would treat myself to a chair to make feeding more comfortable. I am hoping that nightime feeds will be easier than proping myself up in bed. I couldn't believe the price of this chair, they were all around ?300 5 years ago, when I was last considering one & that didn't include a footstool! I am 30wks pregnant & I am already using the chair to relax, relieve backache & rest my pregnant body, whilst reading lots!I have not mastered the recline feature yet - it seems difficult to get back into the upright position. The chair has added a finishing touch to the newly decorated nursery & even though the room is not that spacious, the chair fits in well without making the room look cluttered.Definitely recommend this to anyone considering buying a glider chair.

We bought this chair after testing out a similar one on our first outing to the baby shops. The only potential downside is that after only a couple of days the material looks a little grubby.

Comfortable.
Looks great in the Nursery.
Worth the small price tag - there are others out there that cost alot more but are obviously better quality.
This chair does exactly what it says on the website description.

The draw-backs include; the fabric, creases very easily. (although it could be re-upholstered in Nursey colour/ design which we will do).
Reclining position mode hs a quite cheap feel.
( however once in position - it's actually fine).

Great for feeding a newborn - really smooth rocking movement and excellent value. Only con is that the padding looks a bit cheap, however, you get what you pay for and this is easily remedied by a blanket / cushion etc and is still well worth the money. Colour is a neutral shade which will go with most nursery ranges on the market. This was recommended to me and i was more than happy to purchase having tried it already. Thanks!

This is great - we use it at the moment when our little one needs calming and daytime feeds as she is not in her cot yet. But are really looking forward to reading bed time stories in it.Suprised at the quality considering it is such a bargain! We don't know why we didn't order it before as I am sure it would have helped while I was pregnant and in those early days too. It's really easy to assemble. [...]Thank you!

I can honestly say this chair is worth every penny!

I cant believe that this chair was under ?100, what an absolute bargain! Very satisfied with the colour of the wood and the chair is very comfortable indeed!

My husband isnt the best DIY expert in the world but he found the chair very easy to assemble!

As a first time mum I'm looking forward to putting the chair to good use when my baby arrives and hope that little one finds it just as relaxing as my husband, myself and our cat!!

Easy to assemble and fabric is nice aswell. Love the gliding motion and footstool esp with the high back. Only negative thing is the reclining action with the arms tend to move when you sit back regardless of whether you want to recline or not.

The chair would have been easy to assemble except the arm pieces were mislabelled (L vs R) so we put them together backwards (with the arrows pointing back instead of front), which made the reclining mechanism not work.

Overall, I'd say that you get what you pay for, and if you are looking for a rocking chair that will last you a few months while you are nursing, this one fits the bill.

Really pleased with this chair so far, the only seat that stops my backache (currently 31 wks pregnant). My toddler loves it too, either sitting with me in it for stories or rocking on his own. I am certain breast feeding will be much more comfortable this time round, I only wish I had bought this when my toddler was born instead of making do with other chairs. Easy to assemble and compact enough to fit in a relatively small space. I seem to have a problem with the arm covers staying in place when I recline, but to be honest I didn't buy it for the reclining capability so am not too fussed. Would recommend to any new mums.

Was very pleased with the product until I went to clean a dirty mark on the stool with a damp cloth which made to large water marks that wont come off.

There is no cleaning guidance and if water makes these marks I can see the chair looking a lot worse very soon after our baby arrives.

If anyone has any cleaning tips for this producd please leave some advice.

An absolute bargain at under ?100! Frankly, if other similar chairs are in the ?250-?350 bracket, this one is worth the same. Excellent quality. Simplicity itself to put together, much of the chair already being assembled (and the stool being ready-to-go straight out of the box). Rocking motion on both the chair and the stool is excellent. Both are very comfortable. Very well built - feels sturdy so would expect both to last. All in all, an extremely satisfactory purchase - so glad my wife spotted it (as is she!).

Comfortable chair with a nice even rocking motion.
But I did find it quite uncomfortable when I was breastfeeding so didn't use it much then. But love it now especially for last bottle at night. My husband and baby have fallen asleep many times in the chair!

Our baby is now 6 weeks old, and this chair has already been a great source of comfort for us, and our baby.
At first I found the arms got in the way when breast feeding, but now that I've put an extra cushion underneath me it's really comforable - excellent for those night-time feeds.
In addition to nursing, we rock our baby to sooth him, and help him sleep.
When he's older, we think he'll enjoy being read to in this chair.
I thought the price compared well with buying even an ordinary chair. The relatively small size of the chair is handy too, as our nursery is tiny. We're really glad we bought it.

I would highly recommend this chair to anyone below a size 20 as that's the only drawback..... its not very big. I'm a size 20 and although it's comfortable I would have preferred a bit more room. It's VERY easy to assemble, looks lovely and has a wonderful smooth glide. The recline is impressive, going very far back and it's well padded. The cream fabric is a bit of a pain to keep clean as I have a black cat and a toddler but a nice rug or throw solves it. In the hot weather I'm certainly glad I went for a fabric rather than a leather version though. Basically it's a good buy.
