Wanted one of these chairs when I had my first child, but thought I did not have the room. Oh how I wish I had got one then.
I am 8 months pregnant now with a 2 year old. I spend all evening in the chair, takes away any back ache, while keeping my feet up (I am sat in it now with the lap top).
During the day my toddler loves having a cuddle on 'mummys special chair'. We have stories cuddling up and just generaly relaxing.
One of the best buys I have made. I thought it would be bigger, but it is not too bulky, and the stool goes well with the sofa as well. Am sure I will use this for years to come!

already using it before the baby is born,it,s ideal to sleep in when you cant get comfortable in bed in the last few weeks of pregnancy.i will be using it to breastfeed my baby very soon.i looked at more expensive versions and to be honest theres not much differance, why pay a couple of hundred pounds more for a bit of extra padding.very happy with my purchase.

The glider chair was excellent for feeding my baby in the first few months. It helped to ensure I was sitting properly, ensuring no back ache. I still use it on a daily basis to rock my baby during our wind down period before bed and it's very good for sitting in to read bedtime stories! The only downfall is that it is a bit big so not ideal if you have limited space and the foot stool doesn't get much use. Overall we're very pleased we made the purchase.

I really wanted a nursing chair for my first child but just didn't have the money at the time, second time around I treated myself and even though my baby's not born yet, I use the chair every day - it's so relaxing! [...]any worries I may have had about assembly were soon put to ease when I found that once I took the chair and foot stool out of the box, there was hardly any DIY involved, took me a matter of minutes to screw together, and the covers slip off for easy cleaning. But, best of all, it's almost identical to one I had my heart set on[...], won't say which one (John Lewis) but cost me over ?200 less!Kiddicare is truly great value AND quality for money!!!

Although good value for money compared to similar products in other baby shops, I find this chair quite uncomfortable as there is no support for my lower back. However I am only 5ft tall whereas my husband who is 6ft doesn't find it a problem, although he feels that it isn't wide enough to accommodate a larger person.

We found the nursing chair very useful for night feeds in our bedroom, comfortable chair although I did have to use a cushion for extra lower back support for the first few weeks after giving birth, would be worth spending the extra for the recliner.

Good value for money.

This is a comfortable, nice looking chair that's great to breastfeed baby in. The gliding stool makes it feel as comfortable as it's very expensive rivals.
It does feel very upright though which might put some people off.
It is not particularly easy to clean and it's light coloured material shows marks quickly.
In summary, I'm glad I bought one as I use it daily and it looks lovely in the nursery - its pros outweigh the cons

Best Uses:
When feeding in the night
Describe Yourself:

I bought this as I wanted a chair to go in the nursary and it was a good price, it is really comfortable and holds you at a good position while feeding. I have a small nursary and it fits well, the stool is a bit big but is useful when you are up in the night and want to keep your feet warm. It is just the right size, a lot of others were to big. It comes in a few peices which are easy to put together, and is sturdy.

Great Value! Comfy Chair!
By DippymooVerified Purchaser from Leics on 1/12/2008
Pros:
Comfortable, Easy to assemble, Easy to use, Good Value, Includes stool, Quality Construction
Cons:
Colour, Padding not to end of arm
Best Uses:
Colicky Babies, Cuddling, Everyday use, Feeding
Describe Yourself:
First Time Parent
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Great for breastfeeding and for babies with colic when you are worn out walking! Comfy for everyday use too!

Padding could be slightly more on arms, and it doesn't go right to end so worry about bumping babies head. I have managed to move my arm covers to cover the ends but then they don't stay in place so well.

Great value!
