This car seat looks good, with nice colours, but all is not as it seems. There is no padding beneath the cover material, expect for the head cushion. I bought 2 of these seats, I don't regret it though as they were value for money. A well known catalogue shop, and a car accessories shop sell exactly the same car seat, but more expensive & with a different fabric. I'm a dab hand with a sewing machine and intend to make some padding myself for beneath the covers.
Not great for young infants, but fine for older babies.
Very easy to install, I especially like the recline action.
Would recommend for older babies.

We needed a spare carseat to leave in grandparent's car, abroad. It would get very little use over the years, but would be necessary when we visit for holidays. I spotted this product and couldn't believe the price. When it arrived, both my 11 month old and 4 year old tried it. It is a nice fit for both, secure and easy to fit into the car. The only downside is that it's not as comfortable as the more expensive brands and you do need the padded headrest to cushion out the bumps they'd otherwise feel from the seat's mould/frame. But as it's going to get little use and the price is so great, it's fine...you can always use buggy liners or a folded fleecy blanket to make it more comfy.
You get what you pay for!

lovely lightweight seat, beautiful colour, instructions were clear and easy to read, unfortunatly i cannot recline it due to seat in the car not being perfectly flat horizontally or vertically. shoulder protectors are minimal and not really neccessary from what i can tell. i am happy with my purchase, dont get me wrong! baby loves it and has lots of room to get comfortable but is very safe. was extremly easy to fit facing forwards, belt just goes through the back, not fiddly at all. simple clip stops movement.

our son is now 5 months and looks really secure and comfy. not too sure whether it would have enough support for newborn though.

All round not a bad seat. I'm of the opinion, why spend hundreds on a car seat when you don't have to? My son seems quite happy and comfortable in this. Although it did have something wrong with it when it arrived (printed label on the back of the seat what already peeling off, but you get what you pay for i suppose!)

Product is advertised as suitable from birth, however when we tried to install it in our car rearward facing it jiggled about so much we did not feel safe putting our child in it. Once the baby is big enough for it to be front facing it seems like it will fit securely. But i would not recommend this whilst you need a rearward facing car seat, and would definitly return it if i wasn't out of time!

WHAT YOU PAID ITS WHAT YOU GOT. THE CAR SEAT ARE OK, BUT IT'S NOT SUITABLE FOR BABY CAUSE IS NOT SOFT. YOU NEED TO BUY A CUSHION OR ULTIMAX PADDED TO SOFTEN THE SEAT UP AND IT DON'T HAVE SUPPORT OR PROTECTION WHEN THE CHILD IS SLEEP.. I WILL SAY IT'S MORE IN A 2-4 YEARS AGE RANGE GROUP.

I decided to buy a cheap seat to last a few months when she'd out grown her first seat, at 6m, but wasn't big enough to go into her big sisters old one, at 10m. I chose it becase it reclines and becase it could be placed facing backwards (a safer way to travel). However the straps are difficult to tighten & it was very awkward to get her out because the car's seat belt is in the way. I never felt confident that she was really safe.

I already have a 'branded' Car Seat but I bought this Car Seat to put into nanny & granddad's car so cost was a factor as I could'nt afford paying over ?100 for another seat, however I didn't want to compromise on safety. This seat doesn't feel as 'solid' as my branded car seat & it doesn't offer any side impact protection either but it does conform to safety standards & is a good, modern design & is just perfect for trips to town with the grandparents! Overall I am very happy with my purchase but for me personally if this is going to be your only/main car seat I would try to save a little longer & buy a well known branded car seat that offers just that little more protection & sturdiness for complete peace of mind.

This car seat is used in our second car so we dont have to change car seats all the time. It is perfect for this as it was very good value. It would not be good for your main car seat as it is quite hard and uncomfortable for the child to sit in for a lengthy journey. It does still have the usual features of reclining position and washable and removable covers, however I would imagine that the type of material it is, wouldn't last very long with too many washes as it feels quite cheap. As I say, perfect for occasional use and we are pleased with it for that reason.

I brought this car seat as a backup to save having to constantly switch seats between my car and my wife?s. Our other seat is a Britax Duo Plus Isofix which is great quality but at almost 5 times the price, difficult to justify for simply doing the nursery run.
This seat is not very good quality with straps that can be fiddly to adjust and little in the way of padding to keep my tot comfortable on a long journey.
For the price I would say it was ok but I would not recommend it if for long journeys due to the poor quality of the padding.
