Overall great, but don't let your child hit it with a spoon, as mine did. Apart from that, it's great!

We have tried many different toilet seats, which don't fit, slide, fall off and generally frighten our grandchildren from using them. Thankyou for such a simple but perfect solution.

An ingenious idea which allows my children to use the big toilet too. Far easier and more hygenic than those removeable trainer seats.
My daughter just loves it!
Only one down side is that its a bit cheap looking with its highly polished finish on MDF. So polished i can do my make up in it! It would be fantastic in solid wood! Would look a mess if it scratched but we'll see about that. Overall brilliant!

Great for girls, not so good for boys.
By PuddlemopperVerified Purchaser from Somerset on 6/28/2008
Pros:
Easily Stowed, Easy Setup
Cons:
It leaks
Best Uses:
Toilet Training
Describe Yourself:
Parent of Two or More Children

Looks nicer than potties etc. Encourages independence. Better with older boy toddlers and for girls. With young boy toddler drips run under the seat unseen until the adult puts the seat up and finds puddles underneath. It's hard for a boy to sit far back enough to direct wee downwards into the bowl. Seems harder to do this on this seat than on ordinary seat.

I bought 3 of these loo seats and although they aren't the cheapest I have seen, they are the best. Great quality, really easy to clean. I bought them as I was fed up of the plastic inserts I bought for my young daughter when she needs to use the loo. I have to store them on the floor, they are hard to clean and they slip back but these new toilet seats have done away with all those problems! It's easy for her to get the little insert down when she needs to and I feel they are a worthwhile investment as she will need to use them for a good few years yet and with number 2 on the way we'll need them for even longer.

We have thrown out the potty and brought two Rymax's seats, my daughter (2.5) is happy to use the system as it gives her independence and feels secure. She is now fully toilet trained, it took 3 weeks. [...] The only negative point, product finish is not very attractive but very easy maintenance.

No trapped fingers with slipping training seats, not another thing to trip over on the toilet floor.

My 27th month old daughter feels very important having her own seat and can use the toilet without fear of "falling down" And as an added bonus my four year old son doesn't get caaught short trying to remove a triner seat to lift the regular seat up at the last minute!

We have just tackled potty training and this seat allowed my 2 year old to feel grown up and much more enthusiatic about using the toilet. It was really helpful that he could just pull down his part of the seat so he didn;t have to wait for us to help and easily stowed back again so the rest of the family could use the toilet also.

Fabulous product, This really cuts out all the need to have plastic toilet seats in the bathroom and is also esthically pleasing. Could not be simpler to use. My son loves having his own loo seat that doesnt make him feel like a baby or making him hang on for all his worth in case he falls into the loo. Would thouroughly reccommend this to anyone with children or who have friends with children and come to visit.....

Great idea
By Harry & Ben's mumVerified Purchaser from Malvern, Worcestershire on 1/26/2008
Pros:
Allows independance, Easily Cleaned, Easily Stowed, Easy for child to use, Safe
Cons:
Adult seat wont stay up, Not easy to fit, Wooden seat looks palstic
Best Uses:
Hygiene, Toilet Training
Describe Yourself:
Parent of Two or More Children
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Great idea, my son loves the fact he has his own 'grown up seat'. It allows him to be independant at toileting as there is no fussing around with a seat that sits on top. It is safe and sturdy so no risk of it slipping and the child falling off. I have the pine seat but it doesnt look pine and it is covered in a plastic looking coating for easy cleaning but this does make it look a bit cheap. It was a bit fiddly to get it onto the toilet and to my husbands annoyance the adult seat doesnt stay up ( however for the women it means it is never left up!!) overall I would recommend it but it could look a bit better.

It's great. Hygienic and easy to clean with no crevices for germs to lurk. Childs seat can be secured in the lid so Adult visitors need never know it is there. Great for children who can use it from day one of toilet training so no need for storing or cleaning a potty.

Hygiene

The product is easy to fit. It was a little more expensive than the standard trainer seat but it made my daugther feel secure on the big toilet. This meant the my daughter quickly transisted from using her potty to the "big" toilet... which as a parent is great as makes life a lot easier! (Not to mention less messy.) Since I'm a mother of two, I decided we'll get a few years usage!
