I had heard a lot of people saying that they had started to put their babies on a potty at about 6 months, just to get them used to it. This is apparently very successful but the problem with this potty is that I found it too big for my 6+ month old - his legs are forced quite wide when sitting on it.

It is very sturdy however I think it would be better suited to a 9+ month old or thereabouts. I will probably need to get a smaller one in the meantime. There is a good high lip at the front so I imagine it keeps accidents to a minimum.

Great potty trainig chairs, sturdy, don't slip, good oval shape works for boys and girls. Size means its very comfy, but does mean its quite a substantial piece of kit.
