On first inspection it serves as a convenient space saving changing surface, but open the top and it will revel a bathing unit with built in Microban antibacterial protection. An ergonomic base provides support for both newborns and older babies, whist drainage tap means that wont flood the room everytime you want to drain it. The product was very easy to assemble. I had bought the Evolve changing station from Mamas and Papas but once I had built it, which was tricky as they have changed the hinge on the changing mat but new instructions weren't great, the changing mat on the top was slanted. They could only offer me another unit as no-one else had complained with the same problem. Much prefer the Silvercross unit now anyway. very happy with it.

This is high enough to sit close to a window so that baby can get the sunshine too - useful for jaundicey babies

I mainly use the product for changing my baby, bathing my baby is a bit more difficult as I am not what you would call average height (I am under 5'3") and it is very difficult converting the product from bath to changer whilst holding baby, you need both hands to lift and pull the top part over. This product would be perfect if you could adjust (lower) the height as this would give you more leverage. Also, if like me you have had a cesarean this product can be uncomfortable to use particularly if you are shorter than average like myself. Overall I have been very happy with the quality of the product which is very easy to clean and has useful built in storage.
