This clever pop-up design means that a small bag, barely 27cms across and weighing 0.8kg, contains a bassinet that is quickly assembled to 88cm long by 54cm wide. This means that you can easily slip this cot into your luggage and be certain of a clean and comfortable environment for your baby on arrival. The cot has a cotton mattress and interior and is suitable for use up until your baby can sit up unaided.

We used the Samsonite Pop-up Travel cot on a holiday to Portugal when our baby was 3 months old. It was very compact and light weight and fitted easily into our suitcase. It was very easy to assemble taking less than 5 minutes to put up. We felt the mattress was a little thin so we just folded a couple of blakets up and put them on the floor beneath the cot. Once we had done that the cot looked very comfortable and our baby had plenty of room as the pop-up cot is bigger than the moses basket was. Indeed he slept in it really well and the mosquito net was an added bonus and came in very handy. The cot was very simple to put away and folded easily into its original shape and fitted comfortably back into its bag. I would highly recommend this product and am consideing buying the next size up for when our baby has outgrown this one.

This is such a worthwhile buy! I have used it twice already at my mum's house and will be using it again soon whilst on holiday in Spain. The best thing about it is how compact it is and how easy it is to put together - it takes less than five minutes! It's size also means it takes up minimal space in the suitcase - all in all, the perfect travel cot!

We were looking for a solution to use in a sleeper train. This is a winner, extra light and small to be packed under the pram; narrow enough to be installed on the cabin floor...and comfortable enough for the baby to sleep in!

This travel cot has already been to Grandma's house and our 8 week old loved it, very cosy. I think the mattress is thick enough for carpet but may need extra when camping, where i reckon this will really come into it's own. I amused and amazed various relatives by getting them to time me putting it up and down. Extremely quick when you get the knack (fold it into a figure of 8 and then squash it together.)
I think this will last us beyond 6 months, we shall see...

I saw this online and ordered it because we were travelling and needed something that would protect the little one from mosquitos etc. It had much more room than I imagined and my baby didn't feel cornered in it. It's just so practical and very esay to set up. It also folds easily into it's little carrier bag and you won't have any problems fitting it into even the smallest piece of luggage...

I am always suprised by the amount of travel cots that aren't really portable as they are heavy and bulky. The Samsonite travel cot is small and lightweight so it can be used for travel within and outside the UK.
Getting it to fit back in the bag can take some practice but once mastered you no longer need to fill the boot of your car or use all of your luggage allowance on a heavy cot.

Bought this travel cot as we're going away shortly and I didn't like the idea of using a cot provided by the hotel as you don't know how many years old the mattress is! The travel cot is up in seconds and is really roomy.

I needed something for a caravan holiday with the grandparents. I did not want my 8 week old in a full size cot. This was the ideal solution. He went on the bed next to me and he slept very well. It is bigger than a moses basket and the matress was good. He slept very well, so obviously felt secure. The putting away was much harder as it did not fold easly, which means it is not straight when you get it out again.

Having a second child, we panicked about how to fit all the extra baby gear in the car when we were going away for the weekend - the big travel cot was never going to fit. However, this cot was the perfect solution. It's a very clever design and ideal for a small baby. I assumed it would be the same size as a moses basket, but it's much bigger, so should last a while. It's very easy to assemble and our baby slept very well in it, even though the mattress is not that thick. Highly recommended!

Pop off on holiday

Pros:
Compact, Light
Bottom Line:

This product was worth every penny. The travel cot really does pop up. It is quick and easy to assemble. It is about the size of a dinner plate so is incredibly compact and light for travel. We found it great to have a safe, clean place for the baby to rest and sleep where ever we were. Our baby even started sleeping through the night in it while we were on holiday for two weeks so it must be comfortable!
