I bought this travel cot as it is one of the bigger ones on the market so it makes a good playpen for my daughter. The padded mattress it comes with is a lot softer than most travel cots - we bought the additional mattress as well but I don't think it was really necessary. It has all mesh sides which is also good as a playpen. My daughter also sleeps very well in it, it is easy to assemble and stores quite compactly. For its price I think it is a good all round buy.

Found it difficult to put up first time, but i was on my own, however the next time i put it up it was very easy and quick. Although it is described as weighing 7.2kg, on the packaging it says it weights 10kg, so i was a little confused, however this hasn't put me off the product. I found the design very atractive and the Basinette really usefull. Overall i would recommend this to any one that wants a all round product that is easy to put up and travel with.

I've only had this product for 5 days so early to say how it is. Currently tucked in a corner of our bedroom so that when one of the babies wakes in the middle of the night, they can be lobbed in there to stop them waking the other. Have also used it when I am upstairs/having a shower and need to have the comfort of knowing the babies are safe.

The item is sturdy and there is room in it just now for both babies (7.5 mths). I would think that this will be the case for another mth or two. I like the mesh walls because if one is sitting and fall over, they just bounce off the side without hurting themselves.

The additional mattress is, to me, essential. The base is a bit too hard otherwise.

I've left the worst part till last - the erection of the product. It is not complicated but in the absence of my husband and I having four arms each, we struggled for about 5 minutes. I am sure that there will be a knack to putting it up and it must get easier but I was getting to the fed up stage with it. However after using all available limbs, we managed.

All in all though, very pleased with this item. :-)

I am delighted with this product. It looks very modern and my 4 month old loves it too as she is now too big for her cot. She sleeps in it, plays in it and can even watch the tv through it! Easy to put up and the matress is a must as it is very soft and comfy.

I bought this for my 8 month old daughter last week & have only used it once so far. I did not buy an additional mattress as the cot mattress itself seems fairly comfy. It is definitely easy & quick to assemble & took me less than 2 mins to put up the 1st time I used it. Packing it up is also quick & simple. It seems spacious compared to others I looked at & so far so good. That said, it's the 1st & only travel cot I've used but I would recommend it at this stage.

I bought this travel cot to use mainly as a play pen as it was a lot more roomy than most other travel cots but also a lot lighter for when we do go away. Initially it was very easy to put up and down and my daughter was very happy playing and sleeping in it. I loved this travel cot and was very happy with it. However after taking it away on holiday we found it impossible to put back up and had to return it to John Lewis who sent a replacement, this was also faulty (the rails would not click into place or fold back up). We decided to get a Graco pack and play sport play pen instead which is great and so far have had no problems with. Not sure if we were just unlucky to get two faulty Oomoo's or if its a common problem, would def recommend if it had not broke.

Broke after 8 uses

I had trouble putting the cot down as the buttons were really hard to press and I wasn't strong enough. It also broke after using it approx 8 times which was really disappointing, it would not fold down so we had to leave it at the place we were staying. Very easy to put up and lightweight on the plus side.

This is a lovely travel cot. The video on how to put it up [...]was excellent and vital as we would have never got the hang of it so quickly from the written instructions. W e can now assemble or pack it away in a couple of minutes. It is worth buying the fitted mattress in addition to the cot as it makes it so much more comfy. This is the lightest cot around - useful if like us you need to take it on planes.
