It's a bit like putting a tent up but quicker! Need a bit of brute force to bend the poles but essentially you can assemble the bed within minutes. Very lightweight so ideal if flying (reason why we bought) and packed up it takes up a lot less space than a conventional travel cot. Only downside is that the inside surface is quite slippery so our wriggly baby had a habit of ending up in one corner but this would be easily rectified by using the correct sheet (can buy separately).
