Just as expected; although the mattress design makes securing sheets a little difficult. The mattress laps up the sides ensuring comfort and is secured with velcro, this makes tucking the sheets in for that apple pie, foot to foot ideal a little difficult.
Despite previous reviews the cot is both extreamly easy to asseble and pack away; just like a pop up play house.

This was purchased as a 'through the day' sleep cot for our impending holiday and will certainly do the job its intended for. My 5 month old baby has already had a practice nap in it and seems very comfortable in it. It's really easy to carry, super fast to assemble (although fitting sheets is a challenge) but is nearly impossible to pack away. Looks easy but it isn't and takes at least half a dozen attempts. (We have a pop up sun tent that is made along the same lines and this folds away in no time). However we are pleased with the cot and will last until he is at least 18 months.

This is light and easy to carry, so very useful. The only downside is that it doesn't work with a fitted sheet. I don't think it will be as good as my Baby Dan travel cot once my baby can stand up - it would easily tip over.

This product is very similar to the Samsonite travel cot, but I found this mattress thicker. It is very light and perfect for holidays.
Just watch out first time you open it...it pops up quickly!

Not very safe

This is a very good idea and I would love to have it if it was safer. The recommended age is up to 18 months but I don't feel it is safe for a baby that is at the stage of standing up agains things. My daughter is 11 months and often wakes up in the night and stands up in her cot - she knocked the travel cot over from the inside; luckily she was fine.
If it was more stable I would highly recommend it because it light and easy to carry around and spacious enough for baby to sleep in.

Does what it says on the tin!
By New mumVerified Purchaser from Twickenham on 1/28/2008

Cons:
Not found any yet
Best Uses:
3 month old baby, Newborn
Describe Yourself:

Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

We bought this as it is lightweight and easy to pack - we have several trips coming up and didn't want a huge travelcot to carry around with us as our son is only 3 months old. I found it very easy to assemble - in less than 5 minutes. Putting it down took a little more time, but that is just to get the knack of folding the frame.
NB - Best uses are 'so far' expect to use until he is at least 12 months.

We were going to be charged £5 per night for a hotel in Italy. This way we have our own truly travel cot that can fit in our bags and not weigh too much for the plane. Easily assembled and packed away again and we don't have to worry about it's history regarding the matress. The baby's love it as they feel secure. An excellent find. Make sure you buy this size and not the smaller one and it will last you at least a year

I bought this item while reduced and i got a real bargain. Its fun and practical, with its polka dot design it suits boys or girls, and folds into a small carry case which is so handy to just throw in the back of car or in the bottom of the buggy. Its easy to assemble and we have had found it so useful when we have been on out visiting family or in the park. Im sure it will be just as appreciated when we go on holiday next month too!! My son sleeps soundly in this travel cot.

As a childminder caring for children from 6 months to 15 years (including my own), I have to have a vast range of equipment/toys etc - and somewhere to store it all - so this compact travel cot is brilliant as it takes up so little space and can be quickly set up/packed away as required. I only wish they made a version for slightly older toddlers as mine will soon be outgrowing this one.

Our daughter loves her travel cot! It is so useful and multifunctional I don't hesitate to recommend it to other parents.
We have used it on numerous holidays as it is the perfect size to easily fit into a standard case. It can also double up as a play house and the spots are really engaging and fun for a small child. It is the perfect option for people with little space and lots of imagination.

Worked great when we took it on holiday for our baby when she was 4 months old. Now she's rolling over lots and nearly crawling i wouldn't trust it unless i kept constant watch to make sure it doesn't topple. Still very roomy tho.

we purchased this to use when staying over at at grandparents, found product great for occassional use, would be great for use when camping or anywhere else space is short as not as heavy or big as other travel cots, only problem if any would be that you cannot tuck sheets in, however if you use sleeping bags then its not a problem

An easy pop-up cot - simply get out of bag, let it 'pop' open, insert tnin poles to make it sturdy on top and put in the mattress. As we don't drive, this was great when visiting grand-parents, as compact and light enough to get on train (along with bags etc). Only downside is that its a bit fiddley to fold back into bag when finished with it - but with patience and pratice we got there!!

Portable cot is very easy to assemble and retract to put away. However is really only good for newborns whilst they do not roll or move too much. It's very flimsy and can be blown away. Also sits right on the ground.

Thicker matress please!
By NatashaVerified Purchaser from London on 1/11/2008

Compact when travelling, Easy to Assemble, Easy to carry, Low to the Ground, Roomy, Sturdy, Stylish
Cons:
Thin Mattress, Uncomfortable
Best Uses:
Newborn to 18 months
Describe Yourself:
First Time Parent, Style Concious Mummy
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

We use this all the time. Its compact when stored and very very easy to assemble. Its a bit of a faff when trying to put it back and it took quite a few goes. I feel that the mattress was too thin. Especially as my baby got bigger, I felt I needed to pad it with something else but I suppose thats the reason its so compact. I bought this because of the polka dots as I love polka! I probably might have bought something a bit more comfy if it wasnt for the design. I would recommend it though.

this pop up cot is easy to use, go careful when you pull it out of the bag as it does just pop out! My LO loved it and was quite happy in it. the only problem i can see is that as they grow older and move around there is nothing to stop them getting out as it is low to the ground and you couldnt put it on a bed as they could just roll off.it is very compact and great to use for naps etc if you have a younger baby or you are going to be near by to keep an eye on them. also you cant put sheets on it so could get a bit dirty with time.over all i am glad i bought it and it is good value for money

Cons:
A little fiddly to fold
Best Uses:
Infants, Toddlers
Describe Yourself:

Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

A really useful purchase for travelling infants. I bought it as it was one of the few in the market which was compact and weighed less than 3kgs. Have used it extensively and my daughter has slept in it since she was 7 months old (she's now 14 months). Its quite roomy. A little bit fiddly to fold up and mine has lost its shape a little due to repeated use..but it still works very well. Plus the mosquito net offers invaluable protection in warm, humid climates. A very good, value-for-money purchase!
