This was very easy to assemble, and perfect for our needs. We use it for occassional use when staying with friends or when we leave our baby overnight at her nanas. We have not needed to get an additional mattress, our baby is 8.5 mnths, and has been in it since she was about 6 months. She has always slept soundly in it. At that price, we may even get another one to leave at our house as a playpen!
