Tried a few baby carriers before buying, but found the baby bjorn the best for comfort back support and more importantly easy to use, others I tried were not as easy to use. Having the side panel that clips in is great to allow you to put your baby in and then secure the clip makes it a lot easier. I was a nervous first time parent at first using this but every time I use this my new born baby falls promptly asleep - so she must be secure and content in there, and gives me more freedom where you don't want to take out your pushchair everytime. I also love the fact that when she is older she will be able to face outwards as well. Shopped around and this was the best deal I could find at the time so overall very happy with the product.

I love this baby carrier, we live on the third floor so using a pram just isn't practical. Since getting this my life is far easier. My daughter loves being able to look around and feel more involved while we're out and about. It's really easy to use and is really comfortable.

Great for travel as well. Babies are always happy! Leaves your hands free while carrying the baby which is necessary when you are a busy mother of 4.

We were really unsure about spending this much, but it is well worth the money and are so pleased we did - it makes things so easy in terms of getting our little chap in and out, unlike many of the cheaper carriers we tried first.

We bought this when our son was about 6 weeks old and it is brilliant. We love going on country walks and we can now go anywhere again. It is very comfortable for both mum and dad - we are very different builds and it is easily adjustable.
It will be great for going on holiday and visiting places where a pram is not easy to use.
I have also been using it as a weight loss/fitness aid - again better than simply using a pram on walks.
You wouldn't want to use it for too long though as baby can be quite hot when they come out seeing as they are so close to your body.
The instructions weren't all that clear, so I gave up and just experimented with it myself - once I did this it was so easy. I can easily put baby in and out of it on my own.

Takes a fairly short time to assemble. And whenever you forgot how there are always friendly diagrams on the carrier.
Free up our hands to carry groceries for example. Can now access staircase without needing an extra pair of hands to assist unlike when we travel with the pushchair.
Can still feel the weight of the baby, so it's a good exercise while encouraging right posture.

An absolute must have. Difficult to explain how essential to one who is yet to become a parent but it is a necessity, esp. when you have to do things and cannot set baby down.

I have used this carrier daily since my son was born, firstly in the facing me position, and in the outward facing position from about 3 1/2 months. I use it around the house when he doesn't settle which means I can get on with chores. and have used it instead of buying a pram or pushchair. It is ideal as I live in the country and taking a pram along footpaths is impractical. I also use it around town and find it much easier in busy shops.
My son also enjoys being in the carrier. He felt reassured when he was very little by being close to me and usually went to sleep as soon as he went in it. He now enjoys seeing the world at my height and reaches for things that I am doing!
It is easy to put on and I can easily put my son in and out of the carrier on my own and can even transfer him to / from cot / car seat while he is asleep.
The only con I have found is in busy streets other pedestrians aren't always careful of where they walk, so I end up being over protective so people don't walk into me.

With the arrival of my second child and an active 3 year old I knew there'd be times when I needed more than one pair of hands. The Baby Bjorn Active Carrier gives me just that. Now I can carry on with playing, painting, drawing and play doughing(!) whilst cuddling my newborn. This carrier is quick and easy to put on and getting the baby in and out extremely simple. With my first child I'd bought a Tomy carrier but it was so fiddly I only used it once and has gathered dust ever since. The active carrier has now become invaluable.
