Once set up, the carrier is easy to use, baby is really comfortable and safe and also it is very comfortable for the parent to wear with lumbar support.
Baby can face inwards or outwards and the carrier is very modern and stylish!

I am expecting my first child in a few weeks so I haven't actually used it with the baby but I had some trial runs. It is easy to use and fits very comfortably. I feel supported around my lower back which is exactly what I need and from having seen my friends with the same carrier it appeares that the babie's feel good in it as well.

Great product - it was a bit complicated the first time I set it up as it was in two pieces, but once used it was very easy, and most importantly - comfortable. Perhaps best when baby can hold her own head so she cannot bang into my front. Baby really loved being carried around in it too.

My daughter and I love this carrier, and use it on a daily basis whether to walk to the shops or for our hour long afternoon walks.
At first we borrowed an own brand carrier from a friend who had never used it. I thought it was ok, until Ella was about 9lbs and it become uncomfortable when she was in it for more than 10 minutes. Then the strap buckle broke and we replaced it with a Baby Bjorn on reccomendation from friends. It is SO much better.
We used it a lot at first in the day and evenings when Ella wouldn't settle because she would fall straight asleep in it and I could get on battling the mountains of washing etc etc now we use it nearly everyday. At 4 months she loves being turned around to face the world and have lots of conversations with all the old ladies who stop to admire her, and if she's in a sleepier mood it's still comfortable to face me and fall asleep.
Once you've worked it out for the first time its really easy to put on and very easy to put your baby in - something that the own brand carrier was awful for. This also means that when your baby's asleep its easy to take her out and put her down without waking her up.
I haven't found any drawbacks, although I haven't used it yet in warmer weather when I think it will be very warm as there's a lot of lumbar support.
Friends who have the basic Baby Bjorn and use it less than me say that's really good too.

I love the baby bjorn active, it looks good and is so easy to use and is very comfortable. No more waiting for the lift in the shopping centre with your pram!

My baby loves this carrier. When he was small and facing me, the carrier really supported his head and he fell asleep so easily. You can adjust how the carrier fits around the baby's head so there is never any wobble. Now that he's older he loves to look out and watch the world. I've tried other carriers and wraps/ slings- this is the best by far- easy to get baby in and out of, easy to put on, stylish, and most comfortable to wear. It's also great for travel when a pushchair would be impractical.
