As I suffered with a bad back during pregnancy we wanted a carrier with back support. This has been a great buy as I could carry our little one easily and comfortably and baby loves being in it. Now our little one isn't so little (18lbs), my husband still finds this carrier comfortable and we regularly use it when going for walks. I would say it's worth the extra few pounds for the back support.

This product is much better to use than other products we have tried. It is easy to put on and adjust and feels so much more comfortable than others. I bought it for my daughter to use but we all use it and we all comment on it being comfortable.

This carrier came highly recommended by a friend and they were right! It's perfect in busy cities like London if you need to rely on public transport.

I have found this carrier invaluable in allowing me to trawl the shops/supermarkets without the inconvenience of a pushchair. My only concern is over the amount of room it will provide my child as their waist/chest grows as it is quite tight when you have vests, babygrows and coats on them. Other than that very impressed.

I was on the verge of buying the Baby Bjorn original carrier which has good product reviews the only down side was a lack of shoulder and back support. The active version fixes that problem and for a few pounds more, looks well worth the extra cash. This product is perfect for our new arrival, giving me my hands back to control a soon to be 3 year old when he has one of those days. Indoor use for cleaning the house and outdoor use for short walks / the supermarket shop, this is a perfect product for any parent.

I bought the Wilkinet after reading some great reviews, but found it very tedious to take on and off, especially in public areas. I then bought the Baby Bjorn Active and it has been fantastic! Very comfortable for both me and the baby and with just a few clicks, easy to remove and put on. I really cant think of any negativities on this product and would highly recommend to all new parents

Really easy to use, I use it to carry my (currently 15lb) baby to and from the car, around the shops and whenever I need to be able to carry bags etc. Particularly useful for trips to retail parks when you don't want to take a pram.

brilliant for little babies to carry them round the house but be able to do other things. great as they et older and want to look at the world - especially useful at the supermarket to keep them interested.

If you're looking to decide between an 'ordinary' baby carrier and one with lumbar support, go with the lumbar support every time. It makes carrying your little one so much easier - you hardly know they're there! We have the older style of Baby Bjorn carrier which doesn't have the lumbar support, and this type, and the difference is amazing. Unsurprisingly, we never use the our old one now we've got this, and Emily loves being in it and smiling at everyone as we walk around.

we bought this to use on holiday so I could safely carry our little one on and off the plane it was fantastic and easy to put on even in the small airoplane space.we debated for ages on wether it was worth the extra money and it certainly was no regrets here
