Can't complain much about this seat, it does the job perfectly well.

We used it from 6 months+, so not sure how it would have been with a newborn, it is quite 'upright' so I imagine a floppy newborn baby would have struggled in it. But for our older baby it is snug and comfortable, and once we'd got the hang of it, pretty easy to adjust and install.

The fabric is not of such a high quality as some of the more expensive car seats, but affordability was more important for us.

Great in the back seat, but when using 'rear facing' in the front seat it is quite large, and it did obscure the view of our left wing mirror when driving.

Got this for our main car and the basic luxe for our second car or grandparents and my daughter loves it. High enough seating position to allow her to see out and about while giving good side protection and support.

You get what you pay for....this is cheap and cheerful. I wouldn't use it as my primary car seat as it is uncomfortable and not of good quality but then again it is under £30! Its fine for emergencies and occassional use.

This is a good product however within a week of purchasing it, the belt where the straps 'click' together got jammed. I will see if this is a persisting problem, I will let kiddicare know. The belt is the only problem I feel as I find it a bit of a struggle to tie everytime.
Otherwise, it is an 'ok' product.

We bought this seat for our son almost a year ago (to go in grandparents car) however we only put him in it from when he was about 4-6 mnths old. When he was newborn, even with the seat set up correctly for that age, his head flopped really badly and we were worried about him injuring his neck.
We ended up buying a 0-12mnth car seat as well and using that for a few months. It cost us more than we orignally planned.

I bought one for my car and it was fab, my son is very comfy and happy in his seat so have now bought another 2 (for our 2nd car and my parents car) as they are so resonably priced we decided to have one for each car to save having to take it out all the time.

this item is great, a padded insert for little ones,
but for me i needed a car seat that catered for a child of four (hes average build and height)but when were on days trips he falls asleep so i still need a car seat, this one is lovely and we think he will be able to use it till hes 5 due to the position of the shoulder straps, it also has non slip straps and shoulder pads.
