This seat was bought as a cheap and cheerful second seat to use in my mothers car. It's lightweight and basic but for intermittant use it's fine although I found the fitting instructions unclear.

Does the basic requirement for a car seat. The seat belts can be difficult to put on as they easily get twisted.

This product is absolutely great if your going to put it in a car and leave it there, but I wouldn't recommend it for moving it between cars which is what we purchased it for.
Its also a little annoying to remove all the covers when the inevitable happens and the little one is sick on it.
And when this does happen I recommend putting the catches + clips somewhere exceedingly safe as our little one hid them for a month when we had to clean the covers.
But I'm confident that it keeps our little one safe and sound and he seems very happy sitting in it.
To the point where he'll go to it when its in the house (in between cars) and sit in it.

Bought 4 my car,(i'm Nan). Daughter loves it so much, keeps trying to swap it with hers!! Nice looking seat, easy 2 transfer between cars( If i can do it,anyone can!)Can honestly say had no problems with this seat.

I dont think we can find a fault with it apart from my childs keeps falling asleep in the car. As it changes position for when she falls asleep.

It is used in a two car family as it is not convenient to swap car seats this is a much needed second seat. It is of a basic type but has the required safety and comfort features.

The product itself is great value for money, but changing strap height is quite fiddly, as there is no yoke mechanism. Other than that the seat is really comfortable for the child, padding in the right areas. Other problems with it are that in small cars having the seat in front rear facing mode, can cause reduced visibility to passenger side mirror.

My 6 month old was ready for a forward facing seat.This one is good value for money and the 3 way harness holds him in safely.It can be easily fitted and removed,secured by adult belt,therefore allowing adult seat space when not in use.
I wouldn't recomend for a younger baby,as the head-hugger is not that cushioned or supportive.

The picture doesnt do it any justice but I have to say this is used in my sister in laws car for when my son goes over to them once a week and none of us can believe the value of the seat. We have one that cost ?130 and there is little difference, the only visible difference is the design.

This product is perfect for getting wee one around on short journeys. There isn't alot of padding on the seat so could imagine it to be uncomfortable for longer journey. but ideal for a second car.

For the rear-facing option; If your actual car seat is on an angle you will need to 'prop' the front (which faces back of car) up with a rolled up towel. This prevents your babies head falling forwards if they fall asleep in the car

Good, Safe, Easy to move between cars.A alround good car seat the only down side is the straps twist to easy and are a pain to put straight again. all in all its a very good all round car seat.

this carseat is really lovely, we use it in our second car so that we dont have to keep moving the carseat when we go out on the weekends in the family car. but i much prefer it to our expensive britax one, as it is nearly just as comfortable for our baby. i just wish it had a recline feature and that its colours were a bit more vibrant. but for [$], cant complain!

We purchased this chair to allow grandparents to take our daughter out in their car. For occasional use, this chair is really good value
(we got it in the sale). It was simple to fit and the colour would suit most cars. The only negative comment I would mention is that it seemed quite hard and lacked padding but for the price we were pleased with it.

Excellent buy for second car seat when you don't want to be spending a fortune. Does the job well and baby is comfortable in the seat. Reclines too so that is a bonus for the price. Only downside is the material which is quite cheap and baby can become bit hot in it but if you have air-con then no problem!

At that price, I wasn't expecting much of this car seat. I bought it to have in my car when my sister visits with her baby. She has had a few child seats and was really impressed with mine. It has all the features a child seat should have.

I found for the price, it does the same job as the more expensive car seats and my granddaughter seems to be comfortable in it.I cannot recommend the item as i do not have any friends who have grandchildren yet,but if they do i would.

this product is brilliant for parents on a tight budget like us. Its durable, easy to use and EXCELLENT value for money and the best thing is this car seat lasts till your child is 4 years old. Grab yourself a bargain!

the law states that a childseat is necessary if you are gonna have little 'uns in the car or a booster if they're a bit older but still under the height requirements. the seat that i bought "narnia basic luxe" is absolutely perfect, its sturdy,well made,comfortable and secure and best of all(but not most important) was the price. after having a quick look round i was expecting to pay at least ?75 for the seat i wanted, what a result browsing over to KIDDICARE.COM was! their products from my point of view are very well made and extremely good value in comparison to other suppliers.whereas i was expecting to shell out anything upto ?100 with delivery, kiddicare.com supplied the narnia basic luxe and got it delivered to me for less than ?40! don't think for a minute that i scrimped and took a cheap tacky option,not at all these seats are worth 2-3 times what they are selling for on kiidicare.com. when buying items as important as a childseat its really wouldn't be a good idea to buy cheap rubbish would it? but its always a good idea to buy cheap quality goods eh? and thats what kiddicare.com are there for, they supply good high quality goods at very very reasonable prices,in fact to tell the truth if i was a retailer selling carseats at the prices i'd seen before kiddicare.com, as soon as i realised i was going against kiddicare.com in that market i'd just pack up an go home cause there really is no competition! This seat is very easy to fit and is sturdy when fitted correctly. Although it states its from birth the straps do not tighten enough for a newborn and i feel it doesnt recline far enough (my 5month old fell asleep with her heat lolling well forward). Other than the above i think this seat is value for money and brilliant for older babies.
