this car seat is fantastic, it stays in the car all the time, i got this seat when my daughter was 3 months old because she grew out of those silly portable seats within a couple of months because they are so narrow, this seat is perfect, well padded wide and fantastic from birth, at first i found it really hard to fit, but then i had a proper read of the instructions and it was easy
