My baby has almost outgrown his carrier and we needed to buy a suitable rear facing seat. We bought this car seat after reading reviews. It is quite heavy but once it's in the car you don't need to move it. I found it quite difficult to remove the shell from the base on my own but found the instructions easy to follow to set it up for my 5 month old. My boyfriend fitted it in the car and said it was easy. While it's rear facing it's a bit tricky getting him in and out but you can soon adapt a suitable method. My baby looks very comfortable and secure in it and can sleep in it too. His head sometimes comes forward but you are going to get that with any rear facing seat as they have to be used in the upright position. I would recommend this seat to a friend.

This is the best car seat I have ever had,It is great for the larger baby. Both my children have been over 9lb in weight. I wish this seat was around for my first as I would have brought it then.I had to have my first child forward facing early although she weighed 9kg in weight I was not happy. With this seat I can keep my 6month old rearward facing until she is approx 13-18kg in weight. This seat supports her very well in all the right places even when she is asleep her head is fully supported and does not flop forward like in other seats. This car sit fits in both my cars securely much better than my Britax. I would recommend this car seat to any one especially those whom like my self had had large babies, who have out grown the 1st stage car seat early, and are still under the 9kg minimum weight for forward facing car seats.

We've bought this car seat since it offers a full solution for all ages. This makes is a slightly economical option over its life and much better for the environment than multiple solutions would be. Our 7 month old currently only uses the backward facing option which works well. We like that the seat allows the angle of recline to be adjusted easily. It seems very comfortable and is certainly very sturdy. There are a couple of down sides to this seat. It is not designed to be removed from the car with the child in place (such as when you don't want to wake the sleeping monster!), though we've done this a couple of times with difficulty. And even without a baby in the seat, the chair is very hard to lift from the base unit: You have to pull on two levers, which remain attached to the base, while simultaneously sliding the seat away from the levers/base. Better design would have the levers come away with the chair (or perhaps I should grow extra limbs).
