Bought for a long journey on holiday, so we could see baby and he could see us. He is maybe a little bit young for a forward facing seat at 5 months but he is a big lad and looked safe and very comfy in this sturdy seat. It easily adjusts position and was everything we hoped for. The journey was excellent and we were able to interact with baby all the time.

I BOUGHT THIS PRODUCT FOR MY 8 WEEK OLD GRANDSON AND IT IS EXCELLENT. MARVELOUS SUPPORT AND VERY WELL PADED, IT IS LARGE ENOUGH TO LAST A FEW YEARS. A FEATURE I REALLY LIKED IS THE LINK T THE BRITAX SIGHT TO MAKE SURE THE SEAT WAS COMPATABLE WITH THE MAKE AND MODEL OF MY CAR,THE SITE ALSO GAVE GREAT ADVICE ON POSITIONING AND SAFETY.

The chair looks very comfortable and my little chap soon fell asleep so i guess he approves of it as well. The only negative is that due to its bulky size it obsures my side passenger mirror which makes reversing a little more tricky. My son is long for his age which is why we have had to buy the seat now and he has to rear face still. The chair could not go onto my back seats due to their tapered edges making it insecure. As soon as he can sit in the rear seats and forward face it will be perfect. I am very happy with the product though, as it justs looks so safe and comfortable. It was a fabulous price and this was the first time I had ever used kiddicare and their service was superb which makes a refreshing change nowadays. I would recommend the car seat and kiddicare to friends.

Great item [...] It was a bit on the bulky side but for a smaller car such as a Ford Fiesta, this car seat can't help but take up some room! and this is only a good thing as we know it is both sturdy and of quality. The adjustable recline handle is brilliant and for the longer journeys it seems comfortable for my 6month old son as I was able to feed him and pull his seat back to a sleep position without disturbing him! We spent 4hours in the car and my son seemed quite happy for the duration of our journey, he was able to see out of the window which was very interesting for him!The only complaint I have is we didn't receive the manual for this item and it would have been allot easier had we had this information to hand when trying to set the seat up for use. [...]All in all happy with this item. Britax have been around for years which is why I trusted in this product.

Our baby is lovely and comfortable in this seat. We bought it mostly for the reclining positions available because we were worried about the head to chest position in the infant carrier when asleep; this seat solves that problem. It has a lovely snug newborn insert too. The only trouble is that it is very large and heavy and it can be difficult getting the little one in and out because the seatbelt crosses the door entry.

After struggling to find a car seat that would be suitable for our car, we settled upon the Britax First Class Ultra. I'd read good reviews and Britax offer a great 'Fit finder' option on their website to ensure that your new car seat is suitable for the vehicle.
I'm so pleased with the First Class Ultra - my daughter is 6 months but already sits unaided and is tall already so had grown out of her other car seat - and often ended up falling asleep slumped over, which was most uncomfortable for her.
Installing the Britax was pretty simple and within minutes on our first journey with the car seat, my daughter was snoozing and was very comfortable indeed! The 5 recline positions are fantastic - ensuring that whether bright eyed and bushy tailed or slipping off to the land of nod our daughter is perfectly comfortable!
Also and very importantly one of the main concerns with any car seat, for any parent, is safety and I understand that this is also an excellent choice and highly recommended. Very reassuring!!!
I would not hesitate in recommending this product!

Great as it lasts from birth to 3/4years so no need to buy another car seat for a while. Also it stays in the car so no need to keep straping it in each time you want to go out.

We bought this seat to use forward facing when our Son outgrew his travel system car seat. He was the correct weight but only 7 1/2 months but the seat is so comfortable and padded, he loves it. This is our second purchase of a First Class Ultra as no other seat we have looked at compares for padding and comfort.
Only downside - When changing strap height, we ended up attaching them the wrong way and they were getting stuck, so we were unable to tighten the belts but soon rectified.

First of all, I'll lay out the scenario.I'm a tall person and my wife is rather tall herself. Thus by the rules of nature, our baby boy is trying to catch us up and is very big for his age. The child seat we had from [...] was already getting too small for him, but at 7.4kg he's too small for a forward facing seat. Whatever could we do!?Britax First Class, enter stage left. This seat is huge, but in a good way. As soon as you seat your child into it, you just feel that they're safe. With the 5 point harness that's ultra easy to adjust, it took me and the wife just a minute to get him in there and the straps fitted to the right length. Our first road test was a rather long one because we drove all the way to Bangor, then onto the Isle of Anglesey, up to Llangefni, then halfway up the right hand coast.. turned around to come back to the Ponmon lighthouse and then all the way home. Every time we hit the A roads, he'd just fall asleep. The other positive points that this seat had over its predecessor was that the cars seatbelt doesn't obstruct the child in anyway. The lap section passes under the front and the shoulder section around the back of the seat. The previous chair had the lap section going over the top of the chair.. ie: Over the babies hands! One last note. I've placed bulky as both a pro and a con due to the fact that.. it's bulky so rather hard to get into the car at first and not ideal to carry to and from the car (hopefully this won't need to be done at all) but at the same time... it's because it's so bulky that the seat feels so strong and secure.A+ Product.
