Big and heavy but it's going in your car anyway so who cares. Not tried it out myself but it seems comfy as the little one likes it much more than the last seat.

I bought this seat after my 6 month old son kept crying when strapped into his stage 0 seat. He is now happy in the car as he is more upright and can see out of the window. The seat is very well padded and comfortable for him and whenever I take him out of the seat he feels nice and cool because of the breathable material. Getting him in and out is very easy as the straps are so simple to lengthen and tighten. I am very happy with this seat and wish I'd bought it sooner.

We are currently using this car seat for our 5 month old, he currently weighs 21lb, yet is still too young for the next group up, this seat offers more space yet is still rear facing.

This is a seat with a great reputation, but it is sooo big! We have a Renault Scenic and getting our newborn into the seat isn't easy, and it's going to get worse as she gets bigger. The seat is set so high that it is probably great for toddlers to look out of the window.

My little boy was just getting a little bit to big for his travel system car seat and was worried he would have to stay in that till he was 9 months but then I found this car seat and I couldnt rate it enough. Its really comfortable and to me seems a lot sturdier than the travel system seat we had. Its really easy to install and adjusting the straps is a piece of cake! I just wish I had stumbled across this before forking out on a travel system as this is suitable from newborn.

0 - 4 years rear / forward facing

We bought this seat because the seat that came with the travel system was just a little to tight when we put thick coats on our baby. Most seasts are 0-9mnths then 9 mnths - 4yrs. Our baby is only 5 mnths so financially we needed to buy one which would transfer into a forward facing seat. The seat is fantastically cosy for our little one BUT beacause it has such high sides it doesn't leave alot of room for actually getting your baby in, it is easier to get her in from the opposite side to where the seat is fixed. I'm sure this will not be an issue when we fix it to face forward but it is worth noting if you have the same interim problem. (The manufacturers do say that the chair fits my car (Passat) but I would suggest they havent tried to get a wriggling baby through the side space left by the chair - I expect if you have a people carrier or like it would not be a problem)
My overall assessment is that this is a very sturdy, comfy and easy to fit chair, just consider the space issue if you are going to use it rear facing.

great value car seat as it lasts your child right through from birth - 4yrs, the car seat is easy to fit and with the side impact protection a really safe seat, 5 relining positions make your child comfy on their travels and the harness retainers leave you with both hands free to get your child in and out fits most cars with the two routing options, and the machine washable cover is a bonus.
