We've just bought our second Tobi car seat for our nine month old son as his two year old sister is still firmly installed in hers. On our first trip out he was asleep before we had started the engine and then slept solidly for two hours - result!!
This car seat is great - really easy to use and the children seem to find it comfortable. The only problem we have had is that the straps can stay tight when you put your child back in the seat but this can be fixed by pulling the centre strap between the legs to loosen it or by pulling evenly on the shoulder straps.

This is a fantastic upgrade from the rear facing baby seat. Our daughter is 1 year old and loves facing forward. She is very secure when straps pulled and handy green indicator gives piece of mind that straps are fastened correctly. we do many long journeys and she stays calm the whole way (unlike when rear facing and cramped). Only critisism is the seat has to be empty to lengthen straps so need to get into habit of lengtheneing when take child out, otherwise when you put the child in the straps are too tight for arms to go through. All in all great buy and extremely happy with product.

My 9 month old had grown out of his rear facing car seat so I after lots of research I chose the Maxi Cosi Tobi. I must say I made a great choice - I wanted to avoid the shoulder straps getting caught behind my son which happened in his previous seat, the invention on the Tobi is excellent - the straps never get caught as they stick out on spring type arms. My son loves his new seat which also reclines and is very comfortable. Easy to install and very sturdy whilst really sylish and colourful, I would recommend this to anybody looking for a top of the range seat.

This is a fantastic chair, I had done my research and had my eye on this one for ages and it has not disappointed! I had the maxi-cosi cabrio and my son has found it really comfortable and has always sat very happily in it. The Tobi looks great, is so easy to fit and you know you have fitted it correctly as it's impossible to get it wrong thanks to the wrap around design and colour coded guides. I got the Priori XP for my mum's car, it looks as good but it was much more difficult to fit.

i've ever seen my daughter happier in my car, she can see now what's going on in the outside world and mummy and daddy are very close to her plus it's really comfortable and safe, what else can you ask for?

The seat was so simple to fit, and Ocean just adores being able to see where he is going and looking out of the window. The harness retracting makes it easy to lift him out and fit him in. The recliner enables him to sleep comfortably when tired.

I spent ages researching which carseat to get and I'm so happy i chose the Tobi. It was easy to install myself, my daughter looks comfortable and secure. She loves it now she can see out the window. Well worth the money!

We havent really used it much yet, but the test was to see how little one slept and to my surprise the reclinging postion makes a large difference so far so good!

This product was a gift for my son and daughter in law. They can't stop talking about it and I love seeing my grandson in it as it allows him to view the world from the car and because of the base size he can see straight out of the window.

I am very pleased with this product as I know I can relaxe that my child is in a very safe seat. Reviews on many website give this an excellent report.
There are lots of colours to choose from, which is perfect. Also it can tilt to different possitions to allow them to sleep.

this is a great chair and i wish we had bought it much earlier! My 10month old son really loves being in it and you can just see that he's very comfortable in it. Really easy to install and it looks smart too!

I love this car seat, it was easy to install, and once it is in feels really secure. My little boy loves it and with the springy harness it makes things so much easier getting him in and out of it. A definite recommendation to everyone!

This seat is brilliant! When my 10 month old son is sat in his car seat he looks so comfortable, enjoys facing forward and, best of all, is safe!
The harness is easily adjustable and has the green indicator to let you know it is tight enough. The seat position is also easily adjusted to a more reclined position for when your little one nods off. The seat sits securely in the car and with a little study of the instructions was easier to install than I first thought.
Overall we are so impressed with the seat that the only problem we had was choosing the colour!!

Great chair, read a few reviews before purchase, and a few people seemed to think that their kids could get their arms out of the buckles once done-up. This has never been the case with us, the "goes green" indicator I think is a bit gimmicky, and I do find that after you've tightened once a gently tug on the shoulder straps pulls up slack round the waist and allows the straps to be tightened properly.
Easy to fit in the car, easy to get a very active kid in and out of.

this is an ansolute brilliant seat. after looking for a safe and perfect seat without isofix (as our car doesn't have isofix) we came around many different seats but the maxi cosi tobi has got to be the one. really easy to install, comfy, great extras like the traffic light button to secure straps correctly and most importantly so safe! there's no movement whatsoever and it is the only seat i've seen that has straps along the top to hold back seat from tipping over! buy!!!!

This is the best car seat I have seen. It is straight forward to install in your vehicle, and gives a good tight, secure fit.
The recline is a must, it makes it easier to use the seat for longer journeys, and makes the seat more comfortable for sleepy babies!
The spring-loaded straps makes it so easy to get your child in an out, and you don't need three hands, one to press the strap release, one to pull the straps and one to hold your child into the seat safely! The clever strap release mechanism makes it so much easier.

Great that the belts are completely out of the way; it really helps.
Very easy and quick to put my baby in the seat and he doesn't complain either!
When seat is reclined, my baby can sleep in it very happily!

Really solid car seat for our little girl. She sits really snugly in it at 8 months old and can see that it will last us a long time. Really like the way the seatbelt goes around the front of it. The instructions are easy to understand so you can't get it wrong. Well worth spending the extra pennies to get a good one like this.

Easy to fit, not too heavy for lifting in and out of car if needed. Very supportive for child, easy to remove covers for washing, would recommend this to anybody.

I looked at buying a few different kinds of car seat and was not disapointed with the final choice. Car seat was substantial yet light and really easy to fit in both of my cars(mondeo+astra). My son really likes the elevated position and is able to sleep easily thanks to the reclining mechanism. The shoulder straps were cited as a potential safty hazzard, but in my hands as long as you set the shoulder strap heights correctly and tighten to their correct tension then there is no room for little hands to free themselves.

So good we bought 2, one for each car. This seat is expensive but worth it for the comfort and ease of use. My 12 month old is always happy to sit in his and he sleeps in it when we recline the seat.
The harness system makes life a lot easier as it flips back to allow the child to be placed into the seat without the straps getting in the way.

This is a great product and even though it is more expensive than other car seats (though not as expensive as they can get) it is well worth the money. Easy to fit, great quality and a really nice seat all round. Cant fault it at all I have to say and the seat tension indicator is a real dream. The main selling point for me was how comfy and protective it looked compared to some which dont come with headrests. Was conscious that at 10 months I wanted as much protection for my daughters head and neck as possible and this is a great seat with a lovely adjustable head rest within it. Would highly recommend.

We have 3 Tobys now. The main plus point for them is the way they fit into the car. They've been very cleverly designed to give a very secure fit in a wide variety of cars.

Great value the little one loves the new view facing forwards. It's great for long jounrey's with the recline feature allowing comfortable sleep.Loved it all the way to the French Alps and back, espacially with the play table.

This seat is great it is nice and high so my son can look out of the window which he loves even in a 4x4. It is also a great seat for changing into different cars as it is rare to get buckle crunch which was a difficulty when we were looking for a new seat.

It is a good product, easy to fasten & has an indicator to show if the straps are secure enough.
It is good for people who do a lot of travelling or long journeys as it reclines for the child to sleep.
It is quite expensive compared to some other models that we were told are better by friends who have had a few but we had to have this one as it was the only one that would fit our car.
It does fit most cars if you have a problem getting one to fit but otherwise I would go for a Maxi Cosi Priori!

This child seat is so easy to use - fitted it straight out of the box within 5 minutes. Really easy to swap in and out of different vehicles too! Great design and very easy to get the child in and out of.

The seat is very simple to install, a picture tells a thousand words and the installation illustrations are excellent. The whole seat just feels so comfortable, well made but most importantly safe. The harness release is fantastic in that it holds the shoulder straps back so absolutely no hassle in getting your little one in or out. The additional safety feature of the buckle slot turning green to know your child's straps are the correct tension is such a simple yet ingenious idea. There is nothing I would alter about this seat. I've bught one for our car and one for the grandparents car and would recommend it to everybody. If your budget can stretch far enough - go for the Tobi!

My now 1-year old loves this seat - it is upright enough that he can see out of the window, which amuses him on longer journeys and cosy and comfy enough that he'll sleep really well in it too. I love it for its easy to work harnesses.

This is a great, safe and easy to use car seat. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is it is awkward to fit absolutely securely into the car. My husband ( a sturdy man!!) had to practically sit in the seat to get it tight enough. Otherwise, a highly recommended seat.

A brilliant carseat - very high up so my son loved loooking out of the window. Also very comfy too. Oh yes and the seatbelt is brillinat as it moves back to get them in really easily.

We bought this car seat nearly 12months ago now for our little girl, we are now expecting a second baby and have immediatly purchased another for future use it is such a good safe seat.
Easy to fit, fits solidly in the car with little to no movement, comfortable and is easily adjusted to sleeping position.
