Bought this for my 9 month old son and he loves it. Nice for him to be able to look out of the window and for me to turn and see him easily. Was easy to install and easy to put him in and out of it. Also good for reclining though doesnt go as far back as I thought it would - however we used it on a night journey up north and baby slept fine. Very happy customer.

Is just exactly what we required. Some products don't do what they are intended for. This one does. Very easy to swap between cars. Doesn't damage your seats!

The product is great but I think a DVD showing step by step on how to fit the seat would be great. I still am not sure how to adjust the strap to a higher position.

I had a Maxi Cosi Cabriofix car seat before this so knew I wanted to stick with Maxi Cosi. It is such a smart looking seat which has all the features I wanted in a car seat. My little boy loves facing forwards in his new seat and even though its upright, he still has the best naps in it! With its multi position recline, its so easy to adjust the position when he starts to look sleepy. It fits in the car so well and is so secure - I have never seen a car seat that moves less than this one. I wouldn't recommend anything else.

Prior to purchasing the Maxi-Cosi Priori XP from Kiddicare we nearly purchased 2 other car seats but decided at the last minute that there did not look to be that much growing room in either of these seats.
The Priori XP was then recommended to us so I watched the Kiddicare video on the Priori XP, viewed the seat in person and then read some of the Kiddicare customer reviews. As we have planned a driving holiday from Kent to Portugal in July with our (currently) 9 month old twin girls, we were very keen to make the right purchase to ensure the girls would be comfortable on the drive. We are certain we have done this. The 5 point safety harness is very secure and the resting/sleeping recline position is easy to apply with the minimum of effort. The height adjustable seat belts are a good feature as are the seat hooks that keep the belts and buckle out of the way whilst putting the infant in and out of the seat. It took me 5 minutes to install each seat and the seatbelt tensioner is a great feature as unlike our previous car seats, the Priori XP cannot be moved once fitted properly. The girls have already made a 5 hour round trip to Oxford and were fast asleep almost the entire journey and looked very comfortable.
I did purchase 2 baby/toddler neck pillows from a high street store as the girls had been used to quite a bit of head padding on their newborn car seats and this does help them get more comfortable at the moment.
We have not had the need to clean the seats at present so I cannot comment on how easy they are to clean. The seats are no heavier than many car seats on the market at present and could be easily moved to another car if needed. There is lots of space for the girls to move their legs freely and adopt a comfortable sitting/sleeping position.They also love sitting front facing now. Another great purchase from Kiddicare.com.

Very good car seat which will see your child through to about 3-4 years of age. Good if you are not planning to take it out of the car very often.
[...] So easy to strap baby in, no pulling and squeezing into straps. Very good lock, as not to let baby catch on, how to unlock, pretty sharp these babies you know!! Bought for my daughters son for his birthday-daughter very pleased.

Brought this seat for my son who is a very big baby and needed a seat supportive for a baby, but big enough for his long legs which were squashed in a rear facing seat.
We love it! It is so unbelievably easy to install, that I havent bothered to buy a second seat as planned as it is no hassel at all to swap it from car to car. This in the long run has saved us money, despite the fact that the seat seemed pricey.
The only slight issue I will mention is that the seat is quite high up so you have to mind not to bump the baby's head when getting in or out, but I think other seats have the same problem, so it would not put me off buying another one.

My baby had out grown his Phil and Teds capsule at 7 months and I was worried that this car seat would be too advanced for him. He can sit on his own but I still wasn't sure he was ready for forward facing. His first ride confirmed he was and he looks so much more comfortable in this car seat. Great reclining position so he can still sleep and he just loves being able to see out the window! Very easy to install - I only wished I still owned a 4x4 so you don't have to bend down so far when putting him in it!

We have 3 children, twins at 11 months & a 5 year old. We need 2 seats to fit across the back seat along with a booster. We considered isofix but at a hundred pounds more we thought expensive, with the tension system on these seats it secures it 'rock solid', glad we didn't pay the extra for isofix. Seats are easy to fit and recline well. Very happy.

My little boy is so comfortable in this. He loves being able to see where he is going now he faces forwards. It is so easy to get him in and out of and so much easier than lugging a heavy baby carrier!!! It was so easy to fit into the car that we went out and bought a second one for our second car.

Great car seat - does everything you need it to do, good value for money. The seat position is very easy to adjust to either sleeping or sitting.
However - it is very high, which means you have lift the toddler up a lot to put him into the seat, which means that you have to watch out not to hit his head on the top of the car door frame.

Having been pleased with the Maxi-cosi cabrio-fix first car seat for my daughter, i opted for the Maxi-Cosi Priori XP for the next stage car seat. I have been very pleased with it, i found it straight forward to install and my daughter looks very comfortable in it. The seat sits very firmly in position and so i feel safe in the knowledge that she is secure. Another great product from Maxi-Cosi!

As my son approached that 9kg milestone I did a lot of research into new car seats and this one seemed to tick all the boxes. I ordered one for our main family car and loved it so much that we purchased another for our second car. My son seems to find it very comfortable, when both awake and alseep, and I am confident that he's travelling safely... ...it's also very stylish which is a nice added extra!

This car seat is so easy to fit, I take it out of my car twice a week and put in my husbands car and there is no problem re-fitting it each time. The seat feels nice and secure and I have no worries about it being installed incorrectly.
The lever at the front of the seat is a really good idea as it gives added pressure on the seat belt making the fit nice and tight.
I looked around at lots of other brands and found this to be the easiest fitting one, the clasp that secures the seatbelt is easier than a lot of others I tried. I would highly recommend this carseat; if you want one that is easy to fit a reasonable price then this is the one for you.

What can I say, we were involved in a serious crash when a truck hit the car side-on. Both of us suffered numerous injuries but my 16mths old baby was lifted out with not a scratch on her. I cannot recommend this seat enough after that experience. I have already ordered the same model as a replacement.

Good quality item from maxi cosi, so easy to install, excellent fit nothing to dig into the leather seats and very comfortable for little one. lightweight enough to move from car to car, cant really fault it.

Seat is comfortable, easy to fit, easy to adjust (seating positions & straps etc). 5 pt harness fits snug around baby so its secure & comfortable. Have had other seats but this is definitely the favourite.

A very easy and quick car seat to fit. The new tensioner makes it very stable.Almost as good as the isofix.
Recline not as far as was hoping.
Clips that hold belt back are great so can't be sat on.
My little girl loves it!

The seat is so comfortable for my little boy. He sleeps well when travelling in it and the recline feature has a good range of movement. The seat looks smart in the car and was really easy to install.

This product remains fixed in my car and I use it every day. My son loves the padding and the fact he is now facing forwards and is able to take off his shoes! The straps are easy to tighten and pin back to ensure a child can be placed in easily. It is easy to recline and to fit.
The only thing I don't like about this product is the buckle. This requires a certain amount of patience to marry up both sections. My friend admits that she has the same problem. If you have a rather active/ wriggly baby then this does pose a problem. Saying that though my son loves the maxi cosi.

Very secure. Feel comfortable with the extra locking system. Removing the cover can be a cumbersome process. Lots of cavities in the underframe that can catch food.

Having researched all the car seat options at length I finally decided on the Maxi Cosi Priori XP and have not been disappointed. I was initially attracted by the Mother & Baby Magazine Gold Award it holds but having looked at a large range of other seats nothing seemed to beat it for safety features and value for money. Firstly, the Kiddicare website was the only place I managed to find the colour I wanted (Black Reflection) - all the other obvious stores had it in murky Cappuccino, Indian Spice or Penguin colours! [...] The seat fits perfectly in my car and is lovely and high which means my daughter can see out of the window. The first time we used it was on a 6 hour drive to Cornwall and she didn't complain the entire way which obviously meant it was comfortable for her. It is easy to install and the extra seat belt tightening mechanism is very reassuring. The 4 recline positions are perfect if she wants to sleep and it is easy to click up and down whilst in transit. I couldn't recommend this product more highly so far - let's hope it stays that way!

I got it when my baby was just under 9 months but she was not comfortable in her old seat anymore so I decided to go for it. Especially that Maxi cosy has also head support. It is very comfortable, my daughter loves it and i am glad i didn't go for the more expensive one. the only difference was the seat belt. I would recommend it. and i would get the play tray available for maxi cosi it is great and keeps her occupied even during the long journeys.

Abit on the pricy side of car seats however i believe you cant put a price on safety and comfort whilst in a car - so its worth the money ! Excellent reclining option for when baby falls asleep in the car. Very easy to fit correctly with guides etc and therefore practical if moving into different cars. Added safety with the seat belt tensioner ensuring a firm fit. Overall i would highly recommend to everyone !
