I bought this car seat as I knew it would last!
Brittax have always been my favorite brand for safety and I saved up for this seat as when it comes to car safety I don't think anyone should count pennies.

And it's pink so a bonus for my toddler.

It looks and feels soft and comfy, we take long drives and this is the seat you want for long journeys, my daughter (who was previously a terrible car seat traveller) will fall asleep in this seat as soon as we're moving.

We use it as grandparents to transport our most valuable assets around, and wouldn't use a car seat that wasn't 100% safe and reliable.
Very easy to fit, especially with the DVD that came with it.

The colour combination is perfect for my daughter. The support in the seat allows her to fall asleep without drooping forward which often happens in other seats. The padding on the straps are excellent as proved with an emergency stop.

Cannot fault it!

Pros:

Bottom Line:

I bought this to relpace a very heavy Britax Renaissance, it's has been fantastic. It is very easy to install fairly light weight too. The only slight negative is that the headrest rattles slightly when your princess is not on board. Great product easy to move from one car to another.

Really excellent car seat that will fit my daughter for ages. The seat seems really comfy although was a bit complicated but I don't think I read the instructions fully. This fits into my husband's car which has bucket type seats, which we found our other car seats didn't fit.

So far so good
By Proud grandfatherVerified Purchaser from Crowborough, East Sussex on 1/22/2008
Pros:
Good Value
Cons:
Expected it to be lighter, Loose plastic pellets, Quite heavy
Best Uses:
To ferry grandchildren
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I use the product to ferry my granddaughter. It is easy to remove from its fixing position. I like the idea that it will serve till she is eleven years old.
It is not the easiest seat to fit in place by one person only despite the explicit instructions. I found the idea of pressing down the seat with one knee in order to secure it firmly rather bizarre, unconventional and quite difficult. I have grave reservations that a woman of moderate strength would be able to apply sufficient downward pressure on the seat with her knee (as shown in the instructions) in order to establish a very secure anchorage. If this is not achieved, there is too much forward and latelal movement of the seat which I think would be a crucial factor in the event of an impact.

Excellent value, quality car seat.
By Dad-dadVerified Purchaser from Leamington Spa, Warks. on 1/21/2008
Pros:
Durable, Good Value, High Quality
Cons:
Harness slightly fiddly
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

It's a car seat. I use it to keep our baby safely strapped in when she's in the car. It seems like an excellent quality seat. It's durable and it looks comfy for her. The cup holder is surprisingly useful, I thought it was just a gimmick but we DO use it. The harness is just occasionally a nuisance, but that's the only drawback, and it may get easier as our baby grows. Also I'm comparing it to the harness on our old car seat which was a five point harness in a rear facing seat for a very young baby, so it may not be a fair comparison. On the whole, this seat is very good value for money.

Fantastic carseat

Pros:

Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I now have two of these car seats one for my 5yr old who uses the seatbelt and one for my 3yr who uses the 5 point harness system. They both love it and are very happy on long car trips.

A great buy
By Busy working mumVerified Purchaser from Sheffield, South Yorkshire on 1/20/2008
Pros:
Good Value, High Quality
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

As my baby's nursery is on the same site as my work place, this car seat is used every day. It's very comfortable (she fell asleep in it after being in it for 5 mins) and easy to fit. That means it's not too much of a hasle to transfer it between mine & my husband's cars. It took a while to get the hang of loosening the shoulder straps each time so you can get her back in next time. I like the fact that this car seat 'grows' with your child, eliminating the need to buy a new one every few years. The price on Kiddicare was very competitive. [...]

Pros:

Cons:
Expensive
Best Uses:

Bottom Line:

Excellent little car seat, so good in fact that we have 2 ! one for my car and one for the wifes, keeps baby sat up and has good head support to stop head from lolling about when sleepy! a baby waking up with a stiff neck is never fun, straps are solid but comfy, adjustable head rest, and you can even recline it slightly if needed, comes with full instructions and a dvd to show you how its done! a bit pricey but ive seen a lot more expencive ones and it is worth the money, and it even has a cup holder for drinkies!! overall a very good car seast!!!

Safe and secure, need I say more.
By Working DadVerified Purchaser from Alnwick, Northumberland on 1/19/2008
Pros:
Comfortable, Durable, Good Value, High Quality, Safe and secure, Stylish
Cons:
A little awkward to fit
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Bought 2 to transport my twin daughters of 2 years. They love the drinks holders. Gives my wife and I great confidence in their security when driving.
Was a little awkward to fit at first, but now I'm used to it, it's not so hard. Love the easy way you can adjust the height of the straps.
Because I can use them 'til my daughters are 11, they will prove to be extremely cost effective.

Ultimate comfort, safety and style
By Mad dadVerified Purchaser from Wales on 1/18/2008
Pros:
Good Value, High Quality, looks cool
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Very comfortable, and fits the smallest child with an adjustable harness that would keep Houdini in place. Only issue mught be that the way it is held in place takes up a lot of seatbelt, and in my car (Mazda 5) there was no slack left in the seat belt even with the rear seat as far back as possible, so we can't move the rear seat forward for extra boot space.

Great Value Car-Seat
By Mum Of 2 And CountingVerified Purchaser from Lytham on 1/18/2008
Pros:
Durable, Good Value, High Quality
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

This car seat is great value for money as the age range is a massive 9months - 11years. It is really simple to install, our first car seat that has been a one man job! My 2 year old tells me that it is really comfortable, and it looks good too, which although may not be the top of everyones list of necessities, it does help to get your child in the car that bit quicker! The cup holder could be a handy accessory apart from the fact we find it difficult to pull out, although this may be because of the shape of our seats. The removable cover is very useful, particularly for a recently potty trained child, or a very messy one! The main reason for this car seat not receiving full marks, is the problem with the cup holder, and the fact that bits of food seem to fall straight into the car seats harness adjusting mechanism causing jams. Ultimately this car seat offers great protection for your child at all ages, which was our most important request when making our purchase. An all round great buy.

A childs throne!!!
By Millie&ThomasVerified Purchaser from Paddock Wood, Kent on 1/18/2008
Pros:
Durable, Good Value, High Quality
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

When I first saw this I wasn't sure about the colour and kept thinking I had made a big mistake!! What I forgot was that it wasn't for me it was for my 2 year old daughter who absolutely adores it, especially the colour. It is so well padded I wish it could be me sitting in it.
The only downside whould be that to put it into the recline position you have to undo the seat and take it right out. However, I always use it in the recline position so I don't find it too much of a problem. Also when it is the recline position cups don't stay in the cupholder, but again this doesn't affect my opinion of the chair in anyway.
I bought this in the sale so I would say it was an excellent buy.

Pros:
Durable, Good Value, High Quality
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I bought this product when my daughter was two, as I wanted a car seat that would fit her until she would no longer require any form of seat restraint. I had considred the car seats that use the seat belt within the car as the restraint, but my daughter is small for her age and I felt that the Evolva suited her better as she could continue to have an integral harness, and the fact that the width and height of the chair are changeable - so the seat grows with her. My daughter is now three and I think will be able to use the integral harness for quite some time. I was impressed with the quality of the seat and i liked the fact that there is a recline option. Plus, my daughter likes the drinks holder to keep snacks in on long journeys! Strongly recommend!

Perfect Car Seat for my Daughter.
By Mum of three girls xxxVerified Purchaser from Fife on 1/17/2008
Pros:
Durable, Good Value, High Quality
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

We got this car seat for our 3rd Daughter (after being less than impressed with the two our older daughters have)and it is by far the best one we've had. It straps into the car easily and although it is a bit bulky can also be removed easily for use in different cars. My baby (she's 10 months) finds it very comfortable and is always happy in it - it doesn't recline much, but she's never been one for lying back anyway.

It is a bit wider than a normal car seat, so I probably wouldn't recommend it if you have a very small car but if you have the space then this is definitely a seat worth considering. It has a lot of good safety features, and adjusts in various ways (not just height) to make it perfectly adjusted and comfortable for Baby (or child!).

Last but not least it's pretty! :D

We liked it so much we went on to get another two so all 3 of our daughters sit in these seats in a row :)

Bought two, great price and nice pink colour - not one we could get locally. Might sound trivial, but one of things that made it easier for daughter no. 2 to give up her old car seat to her brother was a nice looking new seat. I researched seats and this was the best for us at the present time. One draw back is that it doen't recline, but this was only a problem on the very first journey - I have done a couple of trips of 5 hours in total, and it wasn't an issue with naps.

I was sceptical about ordering a car seat on-line. However, Britax included a handy DVD that explained installation very clearly. They also have a website that you can use to check if the seat will fit your car. I am very pleased with the seat and it's great to know that we won't have to get another one when she gets bigger. It really does grow with your child!

The Britax Evolva 123 Ultra is a fab buy
I got this for my daughter who is 3 and she absolutely loves it especially the drinks carriers either side of the seat which is fab for longer journeys

The seat is excellent value and very comfortable and as they grow it grows with them

The thing I like the most is it is like a comfy armchair and she happily goes to sleep in the car in it and as it is quite high up she can see out the car nicely

The only thing i would say is a disadvantage is if your child will not sleep upright in it you have to take the whole seat out to reposition it to recline as this is not possible to do whilst it is fitted, however as it is so comfy and has side cusions on the headreast for extra comfort my daughter happily sleeps in it

Brilliant value for money and also very easy to fit and adjust if needed plus this will last her until she no longer needs a car seat

As I have 2 children quite close in age and this was suitable from nine months it meant she could give up her old seat to her sister and have a replacement seat which will last.If she was not happy with it I could have put her sister in it instead and left her in her old seat which was suitable until she could go to a booster seat

This is a well made seat with most requirements well thought through. It has padding to make the baby comfortable as well as adjustable recline although this can only be adjusted before you fit. Fitting is reasonably simple with the DVD which comes with it and only changing the seat to 15-36kg is a bit complex. Overall very happy with the purchase and a good price.
