I have two daughters. The eldest has a Group 1 car seat and I was looking at how I could get most use out of the seat that I buy when my 9 month old baby also needs a Group 1 carseat. I really didn't want 2, as I wouldn't get much use out of the second. I am extremely pleased to have found the Evolva 123 car seat, which solves this problem. I will now be able to use both seats for their full lifetimes. It feels really well made and safe. My daughter also loves it - an added bonus!.

Excellent car seat very sturdy. Daughter now loves it and even going to buy another one for my other daughter. I found it very easy to fit into the car. The only thing is the shoulder straps are quite large and my daughter found them quite hard to get used to but other than that excellent. It is very reasonably priced for the amount of time it will be used.

Easy to set up and install.Whilst my car has Isofix, I chose this seat, as the Isofix model does not have the harness (i.e. the Evolva 2/3), enabling Grand-daughter No 1 who is 2yrs 9 months to move into this new seat, whilst Grand-daughter No2, who is 9 months, can now go into existing Britax Duo Plus Isofix seat Group 1

smart looking car seat which seems to be everything we needed so far but as it is up to 11 years won't know for at least another 10 if it last's. Cup holders come in very handy for a very independant little boy to keep his bottle in and toys. find it difficult to get him in to the straps at first due to all the padding all though after a bit of use they get easier.

The seat came ready assembled so was easy to install in the car. As the instructions say you should trial fit the child in the seat to set the shoulder belt height before installing it in the car as after installation this is virtually impossible. Hence as the child grows the seat should be removed from the car to reset this adjustment. As we are grandparents and remove the seat after each use this is no hardship. A choice of colours would have been nice.

Great value, we won't need to buy another car seat for our daughter again. The side head rests are alittle high for the short but fat baby! But all in all our baby loves being able to face the same way as everyone else now and we feel she is safe and secure.

I researched alot of front facing chairs before I settled on this one. This is the chair that Which Magazine recommend even though they do say that any chair is better than no chair. There is a video of a crash dummy in the chair on Which and that was definitely interesting to see how the chair supports your child. The other requirement that I had was that I wanted the chair to last for as long as possible and this one grows with your child (from 9mths to 11yrs). I didn't want to buying another chair in 4 years for the same cost. Definitely have been recommending this to friends - Very pleased !!!

we have another child seat which is for stage two only and it was begining to get too tight for our 3 year old who is slightly taller for her age. so i brought this chair because of its ratings. It is a great chair, very comfy and our daughter loves the space plus she does not sweat so much as the fabric breathes nicely. however there are some slight floors, when our child falls asleep you cannot recline the chair without removing it first which is a pain on long journeys. when the chair is reclined it is not as easy to secure. the only other slight complaint is that with the safety indicator, when you have the straps at the correct tightness, this tab pulls the straps tighter around the legs and waist which makes it a bit uncomfortable.
All this said the chair is still very very good.

Really easy to install (we have a Vauxhall Corsa). Our little boy climbed into the seat as soon as it came out of the packing box. He loves sitting in it, and it looks so comfortable I would like one for myself (adult car seats are nowhere near as supportive). We like the fact that the seat has a long life span, although I would hate to think what the cover will look like when he is 11 as it already has cheese grease on it. However, the cover is removable and washable so the option to 'freshen up' is there. Only downside is the fact that the seat can't be raised or reclined once fitted - you need to decide which way you want to have it before you fix it into the car. That said, the upright position is supportive enough for our little boy (a toddler) to drop off in it, but if you are using the seat for a baby you might prefer to install it in the reclined position.

Instructions could have been clearer. Britax claim full body weight will fit seat in our cars but it was a struggle and I won't be taking it out in a hurry.
Maxi Cosi seem to be designed better than Britax.

Very frustrating at first. Adjustor button in base of seat not clear and generally poor instructions. Like all things I am sure will be easier in time. Great choice to avoid changing seats. Our two year old loves it

This is the second car seat I have bought for 19 month old grandchild. Fantastic product. Easy to get her in and out of the car.First trial was a long journey. Great.Super padding.Even I know when the straps are just right with the special indicator. You cant fail to fit it correctly.Quite heavy so not great for moving between cars.

I bought this for my two year old and he seems very happy and comfortable in this carseat. The only slight niggle I had was installing the seat into the car. It was a bit of a struggle as the seatbelt was too short using the first method given in the instructions and it was quite fiddly using second method. Overall though I am delighted with the quality and safety of this seat.

Although the instructions are not the clearest once you get your head around them it really is easy to install.
The seat makes you confident that your child is safe in the back of the car.

I highly recommend this carseat! It's great value for money as it should last my child from 9 months to 11 years of age! The seat is forward facing in the backseat of my car which is perfect for my curious toddler and she seems super comfortable. The car seat is not only very safe and sturdy but stylish too and I love it! No bad points about it as far as I'm concerned.

Seat is great my toddler loves it especially because it is red! i love it because this should grow with him and so no need to buy another for him. But it is a shame you can not adjust the position while fixed in the car. As he still falls asleep and his head tends to roll forward. On the whole the seat looks and feels really safe.

We took our time to find a car seat for our 1 year old twins we decided on this car seat for a number of reasons: firstly we wanted to go with a reputable brand like britax- in my oppinion they are one of the best car seat manufacturers, secondly we wanted a car seat that would last- this seat can be used up untill the age of 11/12. The features of this seat are great; deep side wings and a good head support for extra protection, removable covers for cleaning and the feature on the harness that tells you when ure child is safely strapped in is an extra bonus. As we have twins a boy and a girl I wanted a coulour that would do for both, this car seat is a nice 'sporty' red not pink as it can appear on the website picture. I did find this seat a couple of pounds cheaper on two other websites though it was only specific coulours on those websites and this coulour in my oppinion was the best. I have shopped with kiddicare many times and know that they deliver quickly and are reliable, i would recommend this seat to anyone looking for a safe and sturdy 3 stage car seat for their child.

so far we've used it few times and our 9mths old seems to be happy and comfortable. it also gives impression that is safe( hope it is not only the impression). it was the first car seat I had to install and the thought itseft was stressful. however, after you read the instructions carefully it is not difficult at all. it is quite heavy but how many times do you have to take it out? over all very happy with it

Put my 8 month old in this as he was getting uncomfortable in his baby seat. Much prefers this. Has really supportive sides & headrest. Good material. Straps can be hard to tighten & can only use recline feature when in car with long seat belts (not your average hatchback). Very pleased with it though. Best price found at kiddicare.

We are grandparents & wanted a reliable, sturdy, safe car seat for our young grandson. The great advantage is that the seat chosen will last until he is aged 11yrs, we hope we last that long. Delighted with product.

Didn't like this car seat at all, looked space aged, the head support was a nightmere and for my 20month old (who is very long in the body) it didn't suit one little bit. My usually happy child screamed blue murder ever time i but him in!
Found a cheaper model by the same company miles better!

For a 70 yr old I found it hard to install and not so easy to adjust. However it is very sturdy and I feel that my grandchild (2 years old) is very safe in it.I do not regret having bought it and in fact on my recommendation my daughter has also bought one.[...]

I first bought one of these when my oldest was 2, but have now bought a second one for my 9 months old baby. He is very comfortable in it. Sleeps very happily in the recline position and very good head support. I like the fact that he can stay in it from now till he doesn't need a seat anymore.

Looks really sporty in my people carrier, so my baby feels and looks cool. I have to share the seat with my sister and my mum when they babysit, and it fits in all 3 cars. The only bad thing is that its bulky and heavy and i only knew how to strap it in because my sister has one similar, otherwise i think it would have been a little tricky. Overall, I love it!!

We bought the Britax evolva 123 ultra as our 2 1/2 year old was too young for a high backed booster seat but his little 1 yr old brother needed his forward facing seat, so this was the perfect solution, a seat to grow with him. It is very solid and sturdy and fits well in our car, although it is a little fiddly to fit and heavy to move between cars. At the moment our 1 year old uses the chair, he is held very safely and is comfortable although it doesn't tilt back much. We are very pleased with the seat and would definately recomend it, but not if you need to move it between cars frequently as it is heavy.

This seat looks good and is comfortable but i find that it is difficult to adjust the straps once the child is in it, which isn't great if your toddler has a bulky coat on and you can't fasten the harness, as all mums are usually in a rush! Also because the straps are quite rigid there isn't much flexibilty for getting arms in easily and the safety feature on the strap sticks out until the strap is secure so it sometimes pokes my son's back if i haven't managed to move the strap out of the way before putting him in.

Purchased this seat for my 2.5 yr old son as he's rapidly outgrowing his other car seat. He loves the fact that he feels like a big boy now he gets to use a proper seatbelt!
I was drawn to this product because of Britax's reputation for safety, quality and good construction - I also really liked the colour scheme, which is perfect for a girl or boy.
Once I had removed and stowed the redundant intergral straps, installation in the car was very quick and straightforward.
My son is able to climb in and out of the seat much easier than with his old seat.
It has cool fold-away cup holders.
I do think Britax could improve their instruction leaflets and make them a bit easier for us busy parents to follow!
Overall a great seat - would highly recommend!

I had been looking for a car seat for my very tall and stocky two year old. Many of them were too narrow across the shoulders and he had to sit with them scrunched forward, like in his Maxi Cosi Tobi. I came across this one and it seemed to do the job. [...]was easy to fit, a bit too easy as I was unsure that I had done it right because of other comments in reviews. As it is large I could only just get the belt around it in the upright position, which is a shame as I would have like to have fitted it reclined as my toddler falls asleep in the car. Overall it is excellent. I have only given it 4 starts due to the fact that there is some play in the top part of the seat as the fittings go around the bottom. If my toddler leans to look through the front seats the seat leans slightly too. I have used a seat gripper underneath so I think that helps.

Britax a safe make always adding new features I like the belt tensioning indicator tab to let you know at a glance that the belt is at correct tension.

It is definitely an excellent product however we purchased it for our 7.5 month old son as he's rather large for his age and had outgrown the infant seat - but it's a little big and bulky for him and the straps are very stiff to adjust which upsets him, so it will be better when he's a bit older/bigger. This makes a good second car seat though (we have the Bebe confort Axiss in the main car and this is fantastic).

We use the seat for our 2.5 year old. He took to it without any fuss or bother and looks very comfortable in it. The seat was easy to install and fixes very solidly in place. We looked around lots before deciding upon this product and one of the main selling points was its excellent 'wings' for side impact protection.

This car seat was very easy to install and adjust. My son is a big two year old but it still felt very roomy.
We got this when my son was 1 as an additional seat for grandparents to have as they look after him, once fitted (a bit fiddlely feeding the belt through the back rest) it is very easy to use though sometime the head hugger gets in the way of doing the harness up, due to childs height (shoulders sitting just below head hugger).
Very happy with the seat overall. Great value for money.

I first bought this product for my son when he was under 2 yrs old. He loved it and I felt confident he was secure. I have bought the 'next generation' for my daughter and now she loves it and feels 'grown up'. great price great value. the only problem is during potty training and those 'little accidents' which are hard to clean up - however that was also true of the previous car seat. Next kids - I will definitely get same chair.

looks very comfy, supports head well so they can sleep without head falling forward. seat tilts back for added comfort for little ones. seat belts are a bit fiddly to fasten as need to ensure child is sitting well back in seat with padded straps on shoulders first. hard to hold both clips together to fasten belt with infant wriggling around. May just be our car, but found it quite difficult to fit as need whole length of seat belt which has to be pulled out and held taught whilst slotting into back of seat. seems to wobble a bit from side to side when fitted.

We bought this for our daughter a couple of weeks ago. She is 9 and a half months, and it is great. It's comfortable for her, feels very sturdy, and she can see everything out of the car window. She always used to fall asleep (even on a 5 minute journey) in her baby carrier, but this enables her to see things.

great materials, you have to take the seat out to recline it and it's not easy to re-install, not one to transfer regularly from car to car quickly as you need to thread the seatbelt through quite a tortuous route. Once it's in though you can alter the head height without taking it out again as long as you have flexible hands. Straps are very good as is the tension indicator, the kids seem to fall asleep very easliy and not wake up wet with sweat.

As a nanny I have experience many car seats, I am still pleased with my choice of this seat. I had my 3 year old son in this car seat when we were in a car crash. The car rolled over and my son came out without a scratch, police and ambulance crew said it was because of my "decent" car seat as the car was written off. I had to bin that seat as it had been in an accident. I think so highly of the Evolva 123 I bought it again. Thank you Britax!!

We got this seat as a spare for emergency nursery pickups. (As we won't use it that often we didn't want to get one the same size as our other Britax seat which goes up to 4 years). The evolva 123 seat seemed a great option, as it lasts to 11 years, but there is one drawback we hadn't anticipated...though our 15 month old fits in it very well, it's too low for him to see out of the car window - a definite problem. Unfortunately it has been put in a cupboard till he's older! On the plus side it does look good, seems nice and sturdy, and I'm sure we'll be making lots of use of it in a year or so!

I have bought this car seat for my 2.5 year old son (he's quite big), and won't have to buy another as it meets all the requirements for car seats until they are no longer required (about age 11), so this saves buying a
